This book lists every possible herb used for every possible malady. It almost makes it sound like you can use them all or interchangably. It gave no real direction. It was interesting from a research perspective, but I would never rely on this book for health concerns.
Not necessarily in-depth but a thin volume that covers a lot of herbs, their primary uses, and a useful glossary organized by ailments and the corresponding herbs to utilize.
One of my top go to books. I refer to this all the time.
Awesome. I use this book all the time.

people interested in herbal healing
This is the first book of herbal remedies that I ever bought and read. It is a slim volume, but full of good information. This is the book that I would carry around with me in my backpack if I were going to be on the road for months and wanted to keep my baggage light.
