In her 53rd bestselling novel, Danielle Steel explores how a single shattering moment can change lives forever. The Kiss is at once a moving testament to the fragility of life and a breathtaking story about the power of love to heal, to free, to transform, and to make broken spirits whole.

On a warm June evening, a red double-decker bus, full of passengers, speeds dow...more

I found this story is a bit frustrating. There seems to have endless obstacle thrown to them again and again. Poor love birds. Just like Shattered Heart by Cleffairy.

The characters are well developed. I really hated Gordon for his domineering ways and pity Isabella for her innocent. Gordon have been dishonest since the beginning and he was so mean as to put the blame on Isabella.

Overall, this is an average ...more

Such a emotional read, kept me so intrigued it was hard to put it down, every page i was like what next what next,i was so involved in Bill-Isabelle's love journey

Isabelle Forrester and Bill Robinson live in different continents but carry on a friendship via the telephone and a few visits here and there for four years. Isabelle stays at home with her sick child Teddy and her hateful husband. Bill is in a loveless marriage and doesn't want to get divorced because he's afraid it will hur...more

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. DS was not that repetative in this book. I liked the friendship/love story between Isabelle and Bill they only thing I did not like was the part about them trying to make love in the hospital. I mean come on, they were both in a terrible accident that left them both in comas and both with critical injuried and they try to have sex in the hospital. That was little over the top. But the whole book was pretty good. I'd recomend it.

The story is about Isabelle and Bill, who meet during a bussiness dinner function while she attended with her husband. They click in a nice conversation and ever since they kept in touch by phone. Isabelle is married to a man who has put her out of his life after giving birth to a premature child who is always sick and in need of a lot of care. Bill is married to a superficial woman who has no interest on his political carreer. Bill and Isabelle live a very lonely life and find themselves en...more

As always, Danielle Steel knows how to tell a story.

However, I wasn't very fond of the story. It was just sad and depressing with no laughter or relief inbetween. What little romance there was didn't provide enough of a relief from the depressing and sad lives of the characters.

Not even a good beach read! I've never read such a whiny, repetitive tale with horrible dialog. I kept waiting for it to get better. Is this typical of D Steele?

My God, this was awful. I will never read another DS book in my life. She repeats everything like 50 times!! This book would have been 10 pages if she just wrote the damn story. Don't waste your time.
Molly
I would give this book 10 stars if that was an option. My favorite book of all time!! It was wonderful, so easy to read. I couldn't put it down.

The Kiss, or "How to repeat a simple concept at least five times". Touching if you're into this sort of thing. I found it a waste of time.

Danielle Steel is an amazing romance author! She always seems to find a way to happiness in any situation!

I learned that just because you are disabled from an accident or mental/physical disability does not mean you should deny the love of others or hide your heart from your loved from ones just because your limited with me being in a wheelchair myself this book was a real confidence booster for me!!! I enjoyed this book and i think others will too :)

Not too much story here...
Some kinda bored.
Seems like the focus was just into the guy's issue here, who's too long to realize what the right thing/option for them (couple). In my opinion, this story/book could be shorter, because some of the scenes, issues, conversations was repeated again and again.

This is my 1st DS's book. But it was all OK. I understand why she becomes a great author.

Since 1981, Ms. Steel has been a permanent fixture on the New York Times hardcover and paperback bestseller lists. In 1989, she was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for having at least one of her books on the Times bestseller list for 381 consecutive weeks. But Guinness was premature. The fact is that one or more of Ms. Steel's novels have been on the New York Times bestseller list for...more
