This was a very good book. Deeper than the first two books of the series, I was surprised and pleasantly so, by the twists and turns that it took.

As in book two of the series, this book expands and shifts its feel. Rielle and Pud and the unicorns are challenged at every turn, and dear Willful James now has to face his greatest fears and choose to become worthy of the honour of being the keeper of the treasured prize entrusted to him by his mentor, who has challenged Will to be brave and strong,...more

After reading book two of this trilogy I knew I had to read the third book and, busy, busy, I finally found the time! Who would have thought that between book one and book three the books would shift and grow to such a degree? This novel grows to embrace an entirely new feeling although it keeps the wonderful characters of the first two books, but in The Third Wish they 'bloom into their fullness', shifting with the landscape and the final flow that this very good writer sends them to.

Still sick in bed so I got to read it faster than if I had to go to school. I found this quite deep and emotional and touching and should I say, spiritual? (or maybe archetypal) might desctibe it better. The thing that I love about the two books that I've read in this series is that you think you're getting one thing, a bit of a light read about unicorns and people on quests, but these books hide an edgy agenda and meanings and morals that I love in books. Glad I read book two first as it made t...more

The Third Wish by Deby Adair is the final book in the Wish series. It follows Rielle and (now) Willful James and their unicorn friends as they finally come face-to-face with the Sorcerer of Great Contempt in a fight for the future of their lands.

I as always enjoyed the underlying warmth of the characters, the forest and the land of Wish. However, this book has the hard edge of deparation interwoven in it. Rielle and Will must face their fears and be pushed to their limits to succeed. It had a da...more

This book had a suprising beginning and kept the suspense going throughout the book which always made it fascinating. There was humor and then intensity all rolled into this book! All three books have twists and turns that no one expects, and the characters fit perfectly in their personalities. The Third Wish is a great book - you read a little then try to imagine whats next, then you read on and find it's better than you imagined! The ending was amazing and unexpected. I loved the whole trilogy...more

WOW! Just different to anything I expected. Not giving anything away, you get all sorts of stuff happening that you didn't ever expect, the unicorns are just fantastic, Rielle and Will are the best, won't say anything else cause I'm still in the story and missing the books already if that makes sense, just read them for yourself and find something you were always hoping for in books and now you've finally found it!! Of all the books I ever read this is my favourite trilogy in literally, years.

This book by this newly published author is, quite simply, a work of art. Part three of the WISH trilogy, Deby Adair's debut novels are for anyone and everyone. My most recommended 'newby.'

I love this trilogy. The Kindles are just as beautifully produced as the paperbacks. Brilliant read.
