Good book. I really liked the way that Raven related to Malika - even though she way terrified of making a mistake with a child. Her little brother had drowned when she was a child, and she blamed her parents for not paying enough attention, so she was afraid of making the same mistake. When Raven had to spend time with Malika she learned that she had the ability to be a mother after all. Meanwhile, Buzz was coping with his own guilty feelings over the deaths of his parents. 3rd in the Brothers in Arms series and a good stand alone. I thought the author did a better jobs in this than in #2 (Mountain Ranger Recon) in making the child real instead of a plot complication. This is not my typical read but my husband got it for me so I had to read it. This book is a great stand alone book. You do not need to read the whole series to enjoy it. The main characters in the book felt real. They did what normal people would do in their situation and I always love a book that you do not have to stretch your imagination to enjoy. I will be keeping and eye out for this author. Her story flows very well and I felt sucked in when I started reading it.
