An entirely new take on partner swapping.
Two couples find themselves more or less forced into a year long partner swap.
One couple adapts well, the other less well.
The book pretty much focuses on one of the couples and the changes that they have to make.
The sex is frequent and explicit. However, there are also work and social changes that have to be made. The relationship is examined in depth and the changes in the characters, due to the year long swap, are also examined.
