I'm a little biased, just so you know. However, with as many times as I've had to read this book, I still get these, "Wow! I seriously wrote this?!" moments. There's a gun fight in the book that gives me chills when I read it.

I've been waiting to read this book, this series, for years! And finally I got my chance.
It was a fast read, full of tense situations and plenty of danger. I enjoyed the story and getting to know the characters, especially Paige and Dexx. And I absolutely loved the idea of demons not necessarily being "bad", and angels not necessarily being "good".
I have to admit, reading this made me feel like I was reading the second book in the series, rather than the first. I wasn't lost or confused at any p...more
