I really enjoy Molly O'Keefe- she's consistently good and her books have unexpected depth for the format. I finished the rest of the Mac/Rachel/Jesse books (Family at Stake, His Best Friend's Baby (Going Back)) but always avoided this one because the premise sounded so hokey- journalist under threat from an LA gang lord falls for his cleaning lady-actually-an-FBI-agent. That was a mistake. Reading Undercover Protector was like reading a Jill Sorenson book with more credible character development ...more

I really enjoyed this book except for one or two errors that the editor should have caught before the book was printed. The story has a bit of adventure and violence in with all the romance and the inner workings of Maggie and Caleb were interesting. It is not by any means the most amazing book out there or the best written but it was enjoyable and I read it all the way through without any breaks because O'Keefe was able to pull me in and just not let my attention go away from the world she ...more

Molly O'Keefe has always known she wanted to be a writer (except when she wanted to be a florist or a chef and the brief period of time when she considered being a cowgirl). And once she got her hands on some romances, she knew exactly what she wanted to write.

She published her first Harlequin romance at age 25 and hasn't looked back. She loves exploring every character's road towards happily ever
