I was first introduced to Jeremiah Burroughs through reading The Rare jewel of Christian Contentment more than 10 years ago. He was an incredibly hard working and faithful Christian minister 400 years ago, and yet much of what he wrote (preached) is so relevant for life today. I appreciated learning about his life, particularly his emphasis on Christian unity. Not the most interesting biography I've read, but incredibly detailed.
