Recommends it for: EVERYONE
I got this Bible as a graduation present at my Church. At first, because of how new and wonderful it was, I didn't even want to use it. Also because it's not a pocket Bible so it is rather large and has a soft cover so a Bible cover type deal wouldn't help much, I don't believe. (Mine is brown, not black)

Then I realized I was being an idiot and I've been underlining and highlighting a lot. It's very insightful and has many in-depth explanations of scriptures that a regular NKJV Bible doesn't. I

Are you searching for a unique Study Bible to help you divide God’s Word?

Today I am privileged to share my thoughts on the New Spirit-Filled Life Bible – Kingdom Equipping Through The Power Of The Word – NKJV Edition. This study bible “addresses important issues of Spirit-filled living in the context of solid biblical scholarship”.

The New Spirit-Filled Life Bible NKJV is an update to the original Spirit-Filled Life Bible that was released in 1991. That bible was the first of its kind, serving as

The NEW Spirit Filled Life Bible in the New King James version.

The NKJV translation is a winner. It is easy to understand and suitable for devotion as well as in depth study. I reads at a 7th grade level. Bible Translation Reading Level. I favor the NKJV since it brings out the differences between the different NT manuscripts.

Review of the study Bible notes and articles.

Let me preface my review by saying that I am not what a lot of people would label as a "charismatic." Technically I would cons

Excellent Bible! I can't give it less than Five Stars based on content. However, it's a bit tricky when it comes to navigation of the digital version on my iPad mini...but that's no surprise. I have had the print (hard-back) version for years, and it had to have been no small feat to even make it available as a Kindle version with all the Word Wealth and other study helps that make it such an outstanding study Bible.
Great Bible

I liked everything about this bible except the prophetic timeline charts prior to Revelations are way too small to read on my kindle fire and I could not get them to expand. I have not tried to print them and would rather not have to do so. Thanks for all the work put into this bible.

Thoroughly enjoyed going through this Study Bible last year. I loved the book intro's, "Word Wealth," "Kingdom Dynamics'" and "Truth in Action" at the end of the books. All the added info really makes for a deep and fulfilling read of the Scriptures.

I had the original Spirit Filled Life Study Bible when I was in High School, but lost it in a move during Flight School. I bought this updated version a couple years ago after trying to switch to the old KJV and also getting an NIV. For some reason
The New Spirit Filled Life Study Bible is a great companion when studying God's Word. It's comments and explanations are thorough and informative, yet even a novice Christian will glean truths from them. Easy to understand.
I purpose to read from it daily. I connect with the living God, discover truth for today and direction for my life personally.

I've read through it many times and just keep reading. I'll never be finished this book. Every time I get more out of it.

“The Glorious Garment of Praise, PRAISE AND WORSHIP. The Hebrew root for “garment” (‘atah) shows praise as more than a piece of clothing casually thrown over our shoulders. It literally teaches us “to wrap” or “cover” ourselves—that the garment of praise is to leave no openings through which hostile elements can penetrate. This garment of praise repels and replaces the heavy spirit. This special message of instruction and hope is for those oppressed by fear or doubt. “Put on” this garment. A warm coat from our closet only resists the cold wind when it is “put on.” When distressed, be dressed—with praise! Act according to God’s Word!” 0 likes
“149:5 Private and Public Praise, PRAISE AND WORSHIP. Here is instruction to sing praise in the privacy of one’s home, not only in public gatherings but to sing in private worship as well. This OT call reminds us of the NT revelation that we are temples, or sanctuaries, of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 6:19; Eph. 2:20–22). Further, see this mobility—praising in all places—as a marching army, confronting foes (not human, but hellish powers) with praises brandished like a sword (Ps. 149:6–8). The “written judgment,” in NT terms, reminds us how praise not only honors the victory of Calvary, but applies the triumph of the Cross to real life struggles—anywhere!” 0 likes
