I'm a bit prejudiced because i wrote this book. However I can tell you that Four Essays on the Shakespeare Authorship Question is an excellent book for the reader who is curious about those questions that were raised by the movie, Anonymous. Who was William shakespeare? Why do we know so little about him? Why did he always write like he was a nobleman? Did he have some kind of secret relationship with Queen Elizabeth, and, if so, what kind of relationship was it? And how do we know that this ...more

Having been following this for the past 20 years or more, hope this dispels once & for all the notion that Shaksper ever wrote a word aside from his many mispelled signatures.
A persuasive argument, as are most, for the Earl of Oxford, if anything better comes along guess have to eat my very own words.
