Whew! Okay… well, ***fanning my hormonal self*** yes, as I was saying, this is one smokin’ hot book, but it’s sooooooo much more than that! Trey is such a sweetheart, but he’s also a sexy, badboy guitarist who knows how to strum a woman’s body every bit as perfectly as he strums his guitar. Oh, did I said a woman’s body? Let me make this clear: he's just as adept at making a man’s body sing, too. But truthfully, as sexy as this tale is, it’s also a great relationship story about accepting who you are, who you aren’t, who you want to be, and living life to its fullest!

As I said, this is “sort of” the third book in the series, but it was meant to be fifth. I do not know the reasons the publisher chose to publish it out of order, but they did. Fortunately it’s only slightly annoying that we get glimpses of Jace’s and Eric’s relationships, without having had the pleasure of first seeing them unfold. As far as this story goes, I don’t feel that being read out of order really detracted from my overall enjoyment of Double Time. I am soooo looking forward to reading more of those hot, sexy, talented, Sinners on Tour!

Let me start off by saying I'm a big Sinners' Fan! If the Sinners’ Tour found its way to my area, I would have front row seats, backstage passes, the cd, and of course t-shirt.

I love the Sinners. There is no doubt that the series is one of my ALL TIME favs, but at times, I felt this with Double Time

Then after reading an arc of Hot Ticket and now Double Time, the true strength of the series for me isn't in the hotness, the steam, or the sometimes "HOLY SHIT DID SHE REALLY WRITE THAT?!!" . Most of the time the sex scenes have me smoking, but at the same time going

When they do get together, Trey finds that she has awakened something within him that he has denied himself for a long time. It confuses him and his emotions overwhelm him at the deep connection that he feels when he is with her. When their first night is over, he fully expects to return to that emotionally uninvolved state that he usually feels and is all kinds of freaked out to find that he wants more with her. He’s bisexual after all and is not accustomed to falling hard and fast for a woman. His whole world is shaken to its core by this but he still has that craving to submit to a man and that will never go away.

Now, if you thought Trey and Reagan were hot together – just you wait. Reagan’s ex-boyfriend Ethan is her roommate and he is also bisexual and there is a palpable zinging attraction between Trey and Ethan when they first see each other. Reagan agrees to try a three-way and the story moves on from here. What follows is seriously hot, kindle-melting m-m sex between the boys and it gets even hotter when you add Reagan into the mix – I think I almost combusted!! This is some of the hottest ménage sex I think I have ever read. Phew!

I almost knocked a star off my rating for the bizarre continuity thing going on here. The couples who have yet to get their stories in books 4 and 5 are already living out their Happy Ever After’s in this one – one of them is even just back from honeymoon. I have absolutely no idea why it was published this way – I can’t even begin to understand it. It seriously messes with my OCD and, all the way through, I was going to knock off a star but the sex in the last half of the book totally merits the 4th star. Yowza!

So this is a great addition to the Sinners on Tour series and I sincerely hope that we’re going to get Trey’s brother Dare’s story before long. I think I love him already.

Plus the bisexual thing is seriously frakkin hot.

Please note that this is actually the final book in the series and not book 3. Eric and Jace already had significant others in Double Time and I felt like I missed a lot. That being said, Eric and Jace's hookups take place in books 4 and 5 so we will eventually get them (in 2013 I believe) and the book isn't difficult to follow. I just have a bad case of OCD and reading anything out of sequence goes against every instinct I have. I think Olivia Cunning got royally frakked by her publisher since they totally screwed up the order these books should've been released in.

Despite my irritation with the HUGE publishing error and the fact I wanted those stories before getting to the last book, it was an amazingly hot book, featured my favorite Sinner, a kick ass guitar chick, and her smoking hot ex-boyfriend/roommate. It's one of the more emotionally gripping menage romances I've read and there were suspense elements that had me hooked. Double Time is in my top 5 erotic reads. Had it not been for Sourcebooks screwing the pooch this would've been a 5 star book for me. That being said, I give 2 thumbs up to Olivia Cunning for giving Sinners on Tour a kick ass ending. Guess I'll get to read the middle of this story sometime next year.

After living with his feelings toward his band mate and best friend Brian for years, a love that was never returned, Trey’s decided to suppress his bisexuality and focus on a relationship with one woman, Reagan, who is the new guitarist for Trey’s brother’s band. Adding to Trey’s desire to ignore such a big part of himself is Reagan being burned by her one time boyfriend and current best friend Ethan. He too is a bisexual and when Reagan caught him with another man, she assumed he was gay and while they were able to save their friendship, Ethan’s love for her never stopped.

The first part of the story focuses on Trey and Reagan and building their relationship. Trey is able to find his heart with Reagan, but he needs the touch of a man to feel complete sexually. He tries so hard to find that sense of wholeness with Reagan, they’re drawn to each other and feel a strong connection, but Trey can’t help but need that something else. When he meets Ethan for the first time, the attraction is instant and makes Trey even more confused about what he wants, what he needs and how it could potentially hurt Reagan.

Of course music plays a huge role in the story, not only do we get some Sinners on stage action but there is quite a bit of time given to Exodus End, Dare’s band, as Reagan is thrust into the limelight after winning her spot in the band through a contest they held to replace their rhythm guitarist. She goes from a barista to a member of a superstar band all within a day. I liked getting the experience through her eyes, she can’t help but be a fan girl when she meets members of both Exodus End and the Sinners, and she and Trey grow closer as she heads out for a week long tour with the Sinners to see how the process works and gain some experience. Reagan wouldn’t be described as a meek woman, she’s funny, likes to mess with the guys, but what kept her real were her moments of vulnerability, especially when it came to her music and being thrust into the spotlight for the first time ever. It’s not a smooth process, her confidence takes a hit when she plays with the Sinners briefly during one of their concerts, but Dare and the other members take her under their wing and help her find her place in the band.

“It’s just sex, Reagan.”

She shook her hand. “With someone else this would just be sex, but with you…I need to shut up. I’m going to end up scaring you more than I already have.”

“The damage has already been done.” He nibbled her neck, her jaw, suckled her earlobe. “Don’t stop now.”

He slide his hands over her smooth back, delighting in the texture of her satiny skin.

“With you…” She rubbed her face against his temple. “You make me feel wonderful inside and out.”

The relationship between Trey, Reagan and Ethan is in a word - SEXY. Trey’s an emotional guy and I love that about him and after loving Brian for so long and being miserable watching him and Myrna build a life together, I wanted this guy to be happy. He still goes through some angst with Brian, but finally he allows himself to find love elsewhere and he found two people that he could not only love, but who loved him back. The sex scenes are just hot. Whether it was just Trey and Reagan, Trey/Reagan/Ethan or Trey and Ethan, they were a great combination of steaminess and when it was needed, tender. I wanted to know Ethan a little bit more than what we get in the story. Some of his background is provided and details of his family, but I needed him to be a little bit more present earlier in the story. However, once he makes his feelings about Reagan known and his attraction to Trey, his story takes off from there.

A quick word on my favorite supporting character, Dare. He stole every scene he was in and I was completely charmed by him. I love his relationship with Trey and how he provides a constant source of support and love for his brother. I went from being indifferent about Dare as a character, to head over heels for this guy and I can’t wait for him to become center stage in his own story.

I’m sure this will be talked about a bit, but I do have to mention that Double Time was written to be the last book in the Sinners series, even though it’s being released as the third book. Why this happened, I have no idea other than the small bits I’ve read online. So beware when you’re reading it that a few things get referenced that happen in Eric and Jace’s books that we don’t have all the details about yet. I don’t think there’s anything said that could be classified as a huge series spoiler, it should be a given that Eric and Jace will find their HEAs and knowing their women’s names in Double Time doesn’t take away my want/need/desire to read their stories. I do wonder though how the angst for Trey related to his story with Brian would have been amped up having two more books to build prior to Trey’s story.

Trey seems to be the most tortured and emotional of the Sinners and I loved seeing this man find love, from two different people. He finds closure with Brian, even though I wanted to kick Brian for how he treats Trey in Double Time. I found Reagan to be a fun character to get to know and Ethan is definitely an alpha, especially in their relationship. I had a fun time reading this story, the humor between the guys and Reagan flows well and the sex scenes range from naughty, a little dirty, to incredibly sweet. For this Sinners fan, it’s an enjoyable and satisfying read.(less)

I've always loved Trey everything about him is just wonderful. He isn't a perfect man, he has issues. And I love that he flaunts his sexuality the way he wants too. He's comfortable in his own skin.

Sassy, sexy, tomboy Reagan Elliot wins an audition to play for Exodus End. When they hear her play, she is hired on the spot to tour with the band for a year. Even though she is an extremely talented guitar player, being a woman in an all male band, she feels like she has a lot to prove and is determined to keep up with the boys. She meets Trey, who is a member of the band The Sinners, at the audition and they are both immediately attracted to one other. After the audition, Reagan and Trey hang out and get to know one another. They soon figure out there is more to their physical attraction, there is an electrical current of chemistry they both cannot ignore.

Trey Mills plays rhythm guitar for The Sinners. He is not only drop dead gorgeous but he's also extremely caring and passionate. After feeling burned and exhausted by the men he's dated in the past, he's decided to swear off men. He's been in love with his best friend, Brian Sinclair, for years and because of these feelings, Trey has never been able to connect with anyone; male or female. But when he meets Reagan, he feels an immediate spark between them he hasn't felt towards anyone but Brian. When Reagan and Trey spend the day together after Reagan is hired, he realizes that he not only wants her sexually, but genuinely likes being around her for more than that and decides he would like to try out a committed relationship with Reagan. But Trey has decided to keep his bisexuality a secret from Reagan for fear of losing her. How long will he be able to keep his attraction to men in check before Reagan finds out?

Ethan Connor is a dominate bisexual male. He's an ex-cop who does security and side jobs as a bodyguard. He has been best friends with Reagan for a long time. Ethan and Reagan used to date until he was caught cheating on Reagan with another man. Reagan has no clue that Ethan is bisexual. She just assumes he's gay and Ethan has never told her otherwise. But Ethan has been keeping a secret, he's been in love with Reagan the whole time they've been friends. When Reagan brings Trey home, there is an immediate attraction between Trey and Ethan. However, because Ethan loves Reagan and doesn't want to hurt her, he tries to protect Reagan from Trey and tries keep his feelings locked away. But for how long?

Phew! So much drama between these three! I really enjoyed Trey and Reagan's relationship in the beginning and I thought they were definitely meant for one another but, when Trey's "other" needs start to come to the surface, it made me feel uneasy. Especially when Ethan first came into the picture. I actually felt threatened by Ethan sliding into the picture. It worried me that he would ruin what Trey and Reagan have together. However, my opinion of Ethan changed when the three of them get together for the first time. The situation was easier to accept since it wasn't just about Trey and Ethan or Trey and Reagan, it was Trey, Reagan, AND Ethan.

In my opinion, Trey's character made this book work. I adore him and I'm so glad he gets his HEA in a way that fits him. Trey not only learns to let the past go but he learns that he can commit to not only one person but two at the same time. Love is love. I really enjoyed all of the sweet and tender moments these three shared together. And let me tell you, I can't even begin to describe how extremely sexy and kink-tastic the sex scenes were. Wowzers! Olivia Cunningham can write some sex scenes that will melt your panties! Not that that's the only reason I read her books. *wink* She writes well-developed characters and fantastic storylines as well.

Double time is a sexy, rockin' good time. This is the third, no wait, the fifth book, but released as the third book so, if you don't like spoilers, I would wait to read this book. But for me, I didn't think the book was too spoilery. Knowing who the other band members end up with will not keep me from reading their stories too. If anything, I'm more excited to read Jace and Eric's books. This book also sets up new storylines for the Exodus End band members, which makes me needy to know more about Dare. Bring on Dare's book!

Double Time starts off sexy and fun and never lets up. I have only read one book with M/M/F and M/M, have to say Olivia had me wanting more by the time I was done reading. I love her writing voice. There is so much more to Double Time then just hot sex with a delicious rock star. There are three main characters Reagan, Trey and Ethan that all have their own issues.

Trey the Rhythm Guitarist for the Rock Band Sinners is bi sexual and is done with men. He decides after meeting Reagan that he will just do M/F relationship. But through out their relationship he is realizing he is missing something and is not complete. That something is he needs to have the mixture of having men and woman in his life sexually. Loved Trey’s character I just wanted to lick him and all his Lollipops.

Reagan had her heart broken by an ex lover Ethan who is now her room mate and best friend. Ethan was dating Reagan and cheated on her with another man. I loved how she does not fall for Trey’s playboy lines and goes head to head with him in the beginning. When she finds out Trey is Bi sexual, she can not believe this is happening again to her. Trey is so sweet to tell her he will only be with her, but she knows deep down he needs to have both female and male to make him complete. She has fallen hard for Trey and she rather have him complete than not. So she comes up with the idea of while they are together the only man he can sleep with will be Ethan. Reagan had me smiling when she did not try to change Trey but figured out a solution. I loved how she put his needs before hers and excepted him as he is.

Ethan is Reagan’s over protective alpha male best friend and room mate. He has been secretly still in love with Reagan but knows she just thinks he is gay and not bi sexual. He knows that Trey is Bi sexual and Reagan does not. He has already hurt her feelings by his betrayal and does not want her to go through it again. While he is protecting her from Trey he is also falling for him. I loved how he is still in love with Reagan and is very protective of her.

The chemistry is hot right from the beginning with Trey and Reagan, then it is a scorcher with all three. I thought my poor kindle was going to catch on fire. Reagan has never had a ménage before. She is nervous and not sure she can go through it. Not only did I love reading about Reagan, Trey and Ethan together I also enjoyed Ethan and Trey together. Ethan and Trey chemistry together was off the charts hot. Ethan is your sexy dominate alpha male in and out of the bedroom. Who has penetrated men before but never let them penetrate him. I thought that was interesting. He has always been dominate with his lovers and would like to know how it would be to be submissive but can not do it. Now Trey on the other hand has done everything with men. While he is with Ethan he is enjoying being submissive but is also missing being dominate as he is usually dominate with his other lovers. He does not look into his lovers eyes (male and female) while making love. I felt like I was right there on Reagan, Trey and Ethan’s journey. I loved how it was the three of them that helped each other do the things they never did. I am a huge sucker for nibbling on the lips and there was definitely M/F, M/M lip nibbling.

The secondary characters add so much to the book. Dare who is Trey’s brother is yummy and I do want more of him. The brotherly love is funny and sweet. The rest of the band members are so much fun. I love the relationship the Sinners have. They are so close they are like one big happy family. It made me want to jump on board their bus and join in.

I am a little confused as on Olivia website that this is book 5 in The Sinners On Tour series but is listed on book sites as the 3rd. Since this is my first time reading The Sinners On Tour series I was not lost at all. Yes almost everybody seemed to already be a couple but it just made we want to read their story to see how they got to be a couple.

Olivia Cunning world of Rock Stars blew me away. Double Time was my first read by Olivia and it will not be my last. I am officially a Sinners fan and Olivia is now one of my favorite authors.

I had high hopes for Treys story and I'm sad to say that I only liked it, not loved it. This was the story I was really looking forward to. I knew we would get some m/m/f action, cause ummm, yeah, I love to read that. I'll give credit for Ms. Cunning on writing fanfuckintastic sex scenes which were smokin hot. I didn’t have high expectations coming into this book. Book one, Backstage Pass was fun and really dirty, but the story line was just okay. And then I really didn’t like book two (the hero and I did NOT get along.) But I wanted to give this series one more chance and I’m glad I did. I also want to note that although this is the third book published in this series, it is actually the fifth book. By that I mean, band members Eric and Jace already have their HEAs in this book, although their books...more I didn’t have high expectations coming into this book. Trey has been in love with his best friend and fellow band member Brian, for a very long time. As teenagers, they share some intimate moments, but Brian is now very happily married to a woman, and he has just become a new father. While Trey never wants to lose his friendship with him, he has to deal with the fact that that is all they will ever have together. Trey is bisexual, and enjoys the very nuemerous hook-ups he has in every city The Sinners tour in. Trey’s brother is also in a band, and Trey helps them audition a new guitar player. The one that blows them out of the water is Reagan. She works at a coffee shop but has some mad skills at playing the guitar. She can’t believe she won the audition and that she is going to be an actual rock star. She also can’t believe how sexy Trey is. They have an immediate connection (total insta-lust but it worked okay for me). Trey decides it is time for him to have a steady girlfriend (After 24 hours of knowing her…..a little fast) and Reagan feels the same about him.

Trey keeps his bisexual side a secret, as Reagan once found her BFF (and boyfriend at the time) Ethan, having sex with another man while dating her. She was betrayed and hurt, although her and Ethan have patched things up and are friends again. But Trey can’t hold off his urge to have sex with another man, and eventually Ethan comes into the relationship, as he loves Reagan and is very attracted to Trey.

This book gets high marks for its enjoyment factor. It’s so sexy, and dirty and the story moves along at a nice pace. I really adored Trey and his emotional struggle with his bisexuality and falling in love with Reagan. He is a good-hearted guy, and you can’t help but root for him in this story. I also like Reagan. More of a tomboy, she could care less about glamming herself up for the press. Her reaction to becoming a big-time rock star played out well for me too. I also love the vibe of the band in general, while they are on tour or just hanging out at each other’s houses. They are family and I really enjoyed their interactions.

There are a few things that didn’t work for me. First of all, in each book in this series, there is a small suspense part and I don’t understand why its there. It never really fits in or in this case it is so predictable, I’m just not a fan. It takes away from the other stuff in the book.

I also had problems with Ethan. I never warmed up to him, as he is so forceful and on the colder side. I found his scenes with Trey hot (we get some really good m/m scenes as well as m/m/f in this book) but at one point he tries to steal Trey away from Reagan for his own, and that bothered me. If he was suppose to be Reagan’s BFF, and he already cheated on her once, why would he want to hurt her again? When Reagan comes up with the idea that Ethan should join their relationship, it seemed rushed on Reagan’s part. I felt like she really didn’t give it consideration. The sex is hot between the three of them, but I wanted more depth.

But like I said earlier, while I have some reservations about this book, I also found it just plain fun to read. If you are in the mood for rock stars and dirty sex, you will like this one.

I love love love Trey. I felt so bad for him for his crush on Brian, but still thought he was awesome to Myrna despite his feelings. He is such a great guy. Ethan kind of bothered me at first. The way he went after Trey knowing Regan loved him, especially after what he did to Regan, I lost a bit of respect for his character for that. He really grew on me though and I loved the way they made it work. I respected Trey a thousand times more when he came clean to Regan about the fact that he was bisexual and for some reason would always want male lovers. He couldn’t turn that part of himself off, so he broke it off with her so he would never cheat on her. He didn’t want to hurt her or lose her trust. I loved Trey even more when he did that.

The sex scenes were amazing—not that I had any doubt with Olivia Cunning, but what she writes amazing is sex with feeling. There are tons of good sex scenes in books, but not all of them make you feel the connection between characters. Olivia Cunning does this amazingly.

This book totally based on its merits is a 5 star read for me. Why then did I give it 4 stars? I am so annoyed with the way the publisher decided to release these books. Double Time is released 3rd but is the 5th book in the series. I felt like I was missing so much. Two of the characters who were single in the last 2 books were married. WTH? And there is a character that is suddenly in a wheelchair, paralyzed. That totally ruins the other two books for me. I hate reading spoilers before a book is released—it makes me feel like not reading them. I wish the publisher had either released the other two books 1st or changed the chronology of events so there were no spoilers. I have no idea what they were thinking when they made that decision, but it ruined part of this book for me.

My husband wasn't home the day I read it and I honestly lost count of how many times I had to lock myself in my room. I mean...multiple breaks within the SAME SCENE. Yep, this book is HOT! So, my husband comes home and looks at my disheveled appearance and says "What's wrong?" Me: "Nothing is wrong. I read one of Olivia's books today." I suppose I could end my review there, but let's discuss the characters a bit. Trey Mills. Yep. He's hot. But, in all honesty, I've liked him throughout the series, but he's never been my favorite. Master Sinclair still holds my top spot with Jace coming in a close second. However, Trey tugged at me in this book. We finally see him moving on from his heartbreak over Brian. That's how we meet Reagan.

I really liked Reagan. I think she was the perfect chick for Trey. She's sexy, smart, talented, and can hang with the guys. I loved the relationship that she and Trey develop. Reagan had some healing to do as well. She's been hurt in the past by Ethan, who she still lives with. They had dated and broke up because she caught him cheating on her with....a guy. So, she assumed he was gay. Wellllll....that's not really the case. Yes, he sleeps with men, but Ethan is still in love with Reagan. How does this factor into the story? This is where the juicy bits come in. I mean, the sex that Trey and Reagan were having was hot on it's own, but adding Ethan into the relationship took things to a whole new level.

Ethan and Trey are undeniably attracted to each other. But, because Trey has been hurt so deeply by Brian, he wants to commit to Reagan only. The problem is, that's really not enough for Trey. It's making him deny who he is, which in turn causes problems with Reagan. The solution is to either break up or allow Ethan into the relationship. Guess which option they choose?

So, let's talk about the sex a bit. Obviously I've noted that it was beyond steamy and pushed me to my sensory limits. Now, I'm not into the bisexual lifestyle, but I can't deny that the thought of two guys devoting themselves to me? That's definitely appealing. Not that I would do that in the real world, but in Autumn's fantasy land, the possibilities are endless.

I would say that if you can't handle menage scenes or M/M sex, this book probably wouldn't be the right fit for you. It's graphic and intense. That didn't bother me at all. The only issue I had with it was that I was really pulling for Trey and Reagan to be exclusive, but then that wouldn't be true for Trey. And, the fact of the matter is that they all love each other. It works for them.

Now, while I loved getting Trey's story, this book was technically supposed to be the last book in the series. This book was the lead into the Exodus End Series, which is in the works. I am BEYOND excited about that series starting. I'm already in love with Trey's brother Dare! I'm still not really sure why the publisher decided to release out of order and I will tell you that there are some spoilers. That won't deter me in the least from reading the rest of the series. I mean, even though we see how things end up for everyone, we still don't know their whole story. Plus, Jace's story is next and I'm dying for it!!!!

Bottom line: you all probably know by now that Olivia Cunning is my favorite Erotic Author. This book is yet another example why. I love her writing and her creativity. I've fallen for these characters and their stories. If you are a fan of Erotic Romance, you absolutely MUST check this series out!(less)
