I'm dying for you to read this!! Dying!! I can't wait and will be on pins and needles until this book is released and in your hands. The series will take a more broad and serious approach. I hope you all enjoy the twist and turns in this book as well as the LOTS of new things that will show up. Maggie won't get a break in this book I'm afraid but she will fight like always. Excuse me, but TODAY is the 13th, when Goodreads told me the book was SUPPOSED to come out. But no, it came out early and I was like HOLY CRAP!!
So I bought it really quickly yesterday, and JUST finished it.
And at first I was really scared because I thought this was the last book and nothing really got wrapped up for Caleb and Maggie. But don't worry it's not. We still get more of hot Caleb.
I'm just wondering though...DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE LAST BOOK COMES OUT????????

Sometimes you hear people say that a book starts or ends with a "bang". Well, that doesn't really work for this book because it may as well be one big "bang"! At first I was like, "I wonder if I'll get bored with them in his castle for the whole book..." because I'm a reader that likes different and diverse settings. I enjoyed reading about other clans and their palace in London but found myself wishing there was more romance in the novel. The book was focused on the visionary and her focus and I found myself missing Caleb & Maggie's relationship. I was getting bored with the Watson clan after 50% into the book. I did enjoy Rodney and found myself gaining a book crush on him.
I'm super excited to read the fourth and final book and hopefully see the weddin...more

So...OMG!!!!! I was so ready for this book and once I started reading, I didn't put it down until I was finished! (I'm a horrible mother, the kids were in bed at 8 p.m.!) I especially enjoyed seeing the growth that Maggie experiences in this book. She grows into a very strong woman and really does learn to handle everything that's thrown her way. Her relationship with Caleb and the rest of the family is dynamic.

Oh my gosh, I just finished Accordance and I need to read this one, I really hope it's released early :) Shelly, you are an amazing author and I have loved this series so far!

I have put off reading Defiance until now (as you can see I didn't last long, not even 2 months) because I know the wait for Independence is going to kill me. This series just sucks you in and captures you. You finish it and you're left thinking about it; that's how good it is! Few stories are like that. I love stories about TRUE LOVE, no love triangles, and that's what this, and all of Shelly Crane's books are about. I'm so sad that Independence is the last book (fingers crossed for a spin off)...more

You know I absolutely adore Shelly Crane’s work, so I’m so please to say she doesn’t let us down with her third instalment in the Significance series. Her writing is as strong as ever and Defiance is a truly heart-warming story full of emotions, joy, betrayal and sacrifice and I loved every minute of it.

I devored Defiance in about 3 hours flat. My excitment for this book was seriously borderline stalker-ish, I had a reminder on my G-mail calender, Hotmail calendar, even my work calendar (I said stalker-ish). Shelly Crane never ceases to amaze me with her ability to craft a wonderful continuation of one of my favorite series. Now, I am eagerly awaiting book four.

I have really been enjoying the significance series. I almost immediately chose to give it a four instead of five because of all the typos in the ereader version. I usually allow for a couple because all ereader versions have some but this last book had a ton of them. It was distracting too because there were many times I had to stop, reread and try to figure out what a sentence was saying due to the typos.

I have to admit, I think this one was the best one in the series! Can't wait for the last one, and I hope it won't disappoint! The first one was good, the second was eh, and the third one was great! Let's hope the last one will be amazing!

I have big hope for this sequel especially look forward about reunification and what happen between the Jacobsons and the Watsons. But it's kind of disappointed me.

I want to give this book a 5, I really, really did, but honestly it's more like a 4.5 - don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the stoyline and can't wait for #4. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 is all the spelling and grammatical errors. There were a ton! I never noticed too many problems with the other Significance books, there were a few, but nothing that took me out of the story. 1.5 stars. I was hoping that since book 2 was an improvement over book 1, maybe book 3 might raise the bar. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed. Even with the Maggie and Caleb dynamic being toned down, I found myself even more disenchanted with the visionary story being pushed to the forefront. I loved this book! I liked this book more than Accordance (I also loved Accordance) and tied it for Significance. In Significance it was all about imprinting and them getting to know each other and all that lovely jazz, then in Accordance it was them finding out that Maggie's the Visionary and telling Bish, now it's all action packed and Maggie being bold and tough! There's a lot of drama in this book and a couple of twists and turns I would've never saw coming!
