I really dig the art books by Jan Greenberg and Sandra Jordan.

Great photographs of the buildings, details, models, work spaces combined with biographical information about Frank Gehry and descriptions of his constructions in his own words. A quick enjoyable introduction to his architecture and designs whether you're a kid or not.

The book was published in 2000, so some of the in-progress building designs have since been completed.

Really neat pictures. I would use this as a book where children could look at the pictures only because the reading was almost a magazine for adults level. However children do appreciate being able to look at those kinds of books.
