I mostly like this book because of the concepts -- anti-war, government-criticising, definitions of fighting, cultural revelations... I understood that both the English and Swedish was trying to be a bit faulty and overall typical to the character, but still it felt a bit annoying after a while. There were so many aspects of the book that kind of only became clear -- despite suspicions -- once I read the last letter (which is basically why the book left me feeling interested and satisfyed with ...more
