Excellent essays by many leaders in education reform such as Deborah Meier, Sonia Nieto and Larry Cuban about what they've learned from experience and research in their years of trying, observing and influencing public policy on school reform. Not 5 stars because there needs to be a whole lot more on "What do we do next?" Many of us have reached the same conclusions about reform since we've had it forced on us. But changing the dysfunctional patterns is where we now need to focus.
