I am soooo excited about this book! The things I have planned for this series are making me anxious. *insert girly giggle* The first book was all about Caleb and Maggie's relationship and coming into their love and book two will not be lacking in that but, it will also be about Maggie coming into her own as an Ace. Accordance was perfect sequel to Significance. There were so many unexpected twists and I found myself speechless and surprised quite often during reading this book. I literally could not stop reading, storyline was maximally exciting and my heart was furiously beating most of the time. It is only 2nd book out of 4 and I already love this series so much!

Caleb and Maggie face many new obstacles together and fight to work through them but will one that should be a good thing, be too much for Maggie to handle?

This was another fabulous installment to the Significance Series!

I won't go into too much detail in this review, because I don't want to give too much away. First and foremost, I'll start by saying that you should definitely read book one (Significance) before starting this book- I wouldn't classify this installment as a stand-alone by any means. With that being said... This book picks up exactly where the first book left off. It really brings us even closer to Maggie and Caleb as they struggle to find their place in life, while still maintaining their semblance of self. As their journey is continued we also learn much more about the Aces' history- Something that I felt was much needed, as well as enjoyable.

There was quite a bit more interaction between the secondary characters, which was definitely a big plus- With that being said though, there were a few things in the story that became a little distracting- Kyle and Bish really tended to grate on my nerves at times... To the point of pure annoyance. Caleb and Maggie's relationship made up for those few distractions though... *sigh* ...I've said it a million times, especially in my review of Significance... And I'll say it again: I love Caleb! ♥ He's beyond sweet and perfection in every way. He's gorgeous. Can play the guitar. Can surf. Has an unfailing love for his significant other. He's both loyal and fiercely protective of not only Maggie, but his family as well... (Okay, shutting up now.) ...It really is a beautiful thing to watch the love between both Maggie and Caleb, grow and blossom.

It’s easy to lose yourself in the world that Shelly Crane created. The story itself is as fabulous as ever, and had many new threats showing up all over the place, at one point or another. I felt so many emotions through these characters- Their happiness, suspense, and even unease. ...And of course the romance- Shelly really brought out so many sweet things that we all want, need, and crave when it comes to romance. She really knows how to deliver, and this was another brilliant installment to the series, where you not only fall in love with the story but with Caleb as well, all over again.(less)

HOLY HOCKEY PUCKS BATMAN, ... was that a doozy of a cliffhanger! How on earth do I wait till next year for this sequel?

Accordance, was an excellent follow up to Significance. More heart stopping action, tons of clean romance, endearing devotion and loyalty, and a story line that won't disappoint. I said it once before, but I'm going to say it again. This "Ace" concept has TONS of potential, and ENDLESS possibilities!

I don't get excited over books easy. See, I fly though reading the books I enjoy extremely fast. And because I read these books so fast if you ask me what they're about 2-3 weeks, hell even 1 week later I barely remember the Plot line. I mean I remember the idea and what happened, but if you asked me what the leading lady's name was or what I thought of that cute snip bit I would seriously be racking my brain trying to work it out. But then I read these rare books I love so completely I remember...more I don't get excited over books easy. See, I fly though reading the books I enjoy extremely fast. And because I read these books so fast if you ask me what they're about 2-3 weeks, hell even 1 week later I barely remember the Plot line. I mean I remember the idea and what happened, but if you asked me what the leading lady's name was or what I thought of that cute snip bit I would seriously be racking my brain trying to work it out. But then I read these rare books I love so completely I remember every funny line, sarcastic remark, and sigh worthy romantic line months later. These are always the books I refer to other people. These books to me are rare, and unless I'm forgetting one, I could honestly only count four. Until I read Significance and Accordance.
They made it onto the list *happy dance*. If it was possibly I would give each of these books a bijillion and seven out of five stars - but apparently you can't. Can I ask the creators of goodreads why are there only five stars?? I five star rate everything, I seriously believe there should be a 'to high to count' star rateing.
I was actually talking to my sister about how I had a huge grin on my face the whole way through Signifcance and that it only slipped off where there was the big there's-always-a-big-lfe-altering-drama-in-every-book conflict, but after that was Over it was right back on my face again. Same went for Accordance.
I don't usually gush over just any book, this is a strange occrunce, but these books ~~need~~ deserve to be gushed over.
Shelly Crane, I don't know if I'm late late joining the party but if the rest of her books are written as incredibly well as these two I will absolutely be reading them. These books are romantic, but not in the way that makes you want to cringe and scream into your pillow 'Why do authors believe teenage girls do, and say such embarrassing things?', they're charming and make you completely fall in love with Caleb - I am a complete sucker of leading lads in books who are just like him. Attentive, warm, loving, confident, appreative ect. He is the type of chacter that makes you wish fiction books were real or you could be the leading lady in them and live in there world. These books are also extremely romantic. I mean love at first touch - the whole love at first dot dot dot thing has been done but I love the way Crane did it.
Okay, who is tired of all the same supernatural romance junk that just keeps going though the recycling, cause I for one was damn well sick of it. Yet another reason to gush about these books, they're different! I know I was shocked too - that there was actually an author who could think of a brand new idea and make it unbelievable magnificent. There are no werewolf, vampires, witches, fae, what's else am I missing? Well you know what I'm getting at. None of them make - oh aliens, I missed aliens - an appearance because there's a whole new supernatural in town, with whole new politics, laws, cerimonies, and enimies. Just to sum up it's all new and it's all great.
Caleb's family in these books are great it makes me want to have a huge family, but pair that with Maggie's small unconventional family it's a interesting balance and makes a it extra fun to read.
I think the side chacters in these books really really help it be so great in my eyes. Kylie, Peter, Beck, Bish, Jim, Gram, all plus more make these books more then just a read about a couple we all know is going to end up together, they make us see romance from different perspectives. With the other chacters love life in different stages of array.
Okay I think I've jabbed on long enough, and ya'll get that I love these book and will undoubtedly be reading the next one when it comes out next year. Cause of the friggen cliff hanger. Ahhhh.
Read these books. You really won't regret it. (less)

Book 2 delivered just as much as book 1! I was worried I might get bored with the majority of the book all at the beach house but found it interesting to see the "powers" develop for Caleb and Maggie. I felt their time there helped make them even closer... if that was even possible!

As much as Kyle was making me mad by flirting with Maggie nonstop I actually felt really bad for him and am glad he got a happy ending. I think Chad will make a reappe...more

Well that was the best freakin roller coaster of a book ive read in a while.
Here's my special little scenario on how to explain this book..
Pretend your standing a ways away from the edge of a cliff and then someone puts a blindfold on you and you start walking forward. You know soon enough your going to reach the edge of the cliff and plummet to your death( or paralization depending on how high your imaginative cliff is) all I'd personally be thinking is " ohcrapohcrapohcrap" this may vary depending on your personality. Then all of the sudden your all time favorite candy bar appears in your hand and then your favorite song starts playing. "You start thinking Wow life is good I gots me my fav candy bar I'm jammin out to the best song ever." Even though you know the cliffs edge could be steps away your feeling pretty good Eh, you lived a good life right? Suddenly you finish your candy bar and the song ends and the "ohcrap" feeling comes back for a few tentative steps. BAM! Another candy bar appears and another great song starts playing "Yaaay! All is right with the world:)" This vicious emotionally draining cycle repeats it's self until your mid way finished with another yummy candy bar and you fall off the edge and flail to your death. But wait! You manage to latch onto a thick unsteady root and there you will hang until spring 2012. Best part? You dropped your unfinished candy bar. Have a nice wait:)

That's my long winded way of saying this book fills you with happy and love then rips it away then refills you to the very top just to suck you dry again until the very end. Its frickin awesome.
Only losing one star because I prefer more action and because Jish has to wait longer for their happy ending. As Maggie would say, "Boo."(less)

To me the tree signified a new grow and change for the coming season. Change is always good when you’re with the one you love. The saying on the cover is so true. To become what you’re destined to be, you have to first find out who you are.

Accordance takes off where Significance left off, with Caleb and Maggie arriving in California for her protection against the Watson's. Just when they thought they have some time to themselves to learn about each other, Kyle and Bish show up to chaperone. Time alone is few are far between now. Bish is there to find out what his sister is hiding, and why everyone is ok with Maggie running off to another state with a guy she just met. And Kyle just won't leave well enough alone.

This book, along with the first one (Significance) were incredible. The thing that made me love this story the most is that the main character, Maggie, didn't drive me nuts! It's hard to find a story where the main character basically takes what is coming at her and makes the best of it. Also, Caleb is pretty much amazing. Accordance (A significance Novel, Book 2) has the power to seduce. This is once again, another fantastic book I couldn't put down.

I love that the author didn't waste time covering events from Significance, Book #1. You don't need it because Significance is one of those books you just don't forget.

Accordance started where Significance left off and it was a seamless transition, which I thought was great. Maggie and Caleb were still pretty cheesy with their constant professions of love, but after about 50 pages in it tapered off and that's when Accordance really began for me. Sure the romance aspect of the story was still there throughout, but the action picked up as more roadblocks were thrown in their way leading to a fantastic cliff hanger of an ending.

That's more like it. I finished this book and I just had to sigh in contentment over where the story is going. Don't get me wrong, the ending was a huge "OhMiGawd" moment for me but I was happy with everything that took place in this book.

So Accordance starts just where Significance left, and it kind of surprised me whre the story is going. This book was a little less on the action and more on the Aces backstory. And I really liked knowing it all!
Mags really grew on me on this second book, and Bish OMG! I just wanna hug him, his such a big brother, and it was really sweet to see their relationship grow...it made me wanna cry.

I've already read Crane's first book in the Significance Series and liked it a lot. I loved this one. She seems to have really gotten a head o' steam and taken the characters to a new level. The ending was so well-done, I loved it. I think she could even do more action. I especially enjoyed those portions of her novel.

I’m not quite sure what to say about this book. Just like with Significance, I had a hard time putting this down and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I fell for Caleb in the first book and I’m now completely in love with him. He and Maggie are a great couple and so much fun to read.

I love Caleb’s powers. The whole scene where they finally realize what his power is, was great. I’m really glad to see that he has a decent power that is equal to Maggie’s.

How can I count the ways I love this series. Shelly Crane has done it again and I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next installment.

We pick up this story right where we left off. The romance continues and doesn't get disappoint. I love Caleb even more than I loved him in the first book if that's possible. Maggie develops more into her powers and becoming a capable young woman.

Wonderful things will happen for some of the other minor characters and other's will show us other sides of themsel...more

REVIEW- Ok here goes... so the past couple of days I have been staring at my computer screen trying to write an amazing review as I promised...but to be honest this novel made me speechless, lost for words...There really are no words to sum up how good it is! So the best sum ups of this book I could think of were....utterly breathtaking? mindblowingly brilliant? and my favourite...OH MY GOD THAT WAS AWESOME!!! :D

Accordance is the second installment to the first book Significance in which tells the story of a guy with a...lets just say an unusaul family heritage and an ordinary girl whos world is about to be turned upside down. When I read the first installment I thought it was AMAZING...one of the best book I had ever read...well it was...but now that I have read Accordance I cant get it off my mind...I couldnt put it down! I cried...I laughed...I smiled...I sreamed for joy!!! I really was an emotional wreck for days...however dont let this put you off...im just an emotional person but trust me...WHEN YOU DO READ THIS you will smile like a goof and yes you will find yourself shouting at a book! :)

I dont want to give away any spoilers and so to sum it up very briefly...My favouite part of this book has to be the day Maggie wakes up early to start cooking bacon...burns it and although she feels really bad and feels like she would make a horrible wife...Caleb soon cheers her up...and makes her the happiest she has ever been... ;)

There are too many things going on, and things are happening so quickly it was the perfect place for readers to pick it back up. You're not left wondering, "oh now, how did they get here again?". Maggie and Caleb are shining stars in this book. They both have a lot of changing and growing up to do. It has been a question from me since the beginning of the series if Maggie's parents were not who she thought. It will be interesting to see that develop further, and I have to wonder if her father was an Ace? I think that will get addressed in the next installment. When Maggie becomes the Visionary it is like I am the room with her. Her visions are so detailed and the taste descriptions become real to the reader. I tasted a lot of those things Maggie did while "reading" her visions. Kyle and Caleb's reaction are quite funny, but also give us that piece that Maggie is a most important person that will affect many. This story is so sweet, and Maggie really has to grow up and realize she is made for more in this installment. I am so happy Kyle gets some happiness as well. Crane has still left a lot of mystery for us to wonder about. There are still a lot of answers about the Ace's to come. Love the mutuality scenes. They are so sweet and so intimate. Wouldn't it be nice if we could be this way with our chosen partners? Our soulmates? Such a unique and well thought story, very visual but not overbearing in words, and such dreamy characters you really really love or really really want to knock out (Marcus). Crane leaves us wrapped with where things are at, and sets the stage for her next installment. Even with a good wrap up, and only a slight "cliffhanger", I can't wait to see where Maggie and Caleb go next, and how the Ace's will be saved or fight to stay the same.(less)

If i could , i would have rated it 'Infinity' !!! God this book is sooooooooooo good !! It is the most awesomest book ever . I finished it 2 hrs ago and was so speechless that i just didnt know what to say . WOW , AMAZING , FANTASTIC , BREATH-TAKING BEAUTIFUL , i can just go on and on about how good it was .

GRRR!!! I'm so bummed I have to wait till May for the next book to come out ;( I really liked Accordance a lot, I think a little better than the first even! There were so many things I liked about this book... I liked that Kyle finally started acting normal towards Maggie even if it was forced until the end, I loved that Kyle did get a good ending for himself because even though I wanted to punch him at times you could tell he was hurting. I liked that Bish was in the second book more and I like...more

Do you know that feeling when you get a book and you just know you are in for an awesome story and can't wait another minute to start? Accordance is that book. I so thoroughly enjoyed this book that I couldn't put it down and didn't want the page count to dwindle. This will definitely be on the keeper shelf and be re-read.

Accordance continues the Significance series by Shelly Crane. If you haven't read Significance, you need to stop right now and go read it. This series is a beautiful love story between two soulmates, Maggie and Caleb. Ms. Crane has a wonderful voice that describes the best love story since Bella and Edward. Her writing weaves such a vivid romance that you can touch the love and your heart will flutter right along with Maggie and Caleb

Maggie and Caleb are hiding out at the beach house with their unwelcome chaperones, Bish and Kyle. Bish is so protective of Maggie and knows that she and Caleb are hiding something from him. He is like a bad penny always turning up with they don't need him and interupting at the worst possible moments. Caleb and Maggie take their interuptions and chaperones in stride. But while at the Beach, Maggie learns her purpose and role in the Jacobsen clan. She begins to really understand her role as a seer and begins to have visions. Some of her visions include answers to the imprinting struggles and how to get the Aces back to the proud race that they should be. Caleb is her rock and her protector. Together they will stand and fight the evil that threatens to choke the clans of their imprints and abilities. This book is the perfect blend of action, obstacles, and heart pounding romance.

I can't express how wonderful Ms. Crane's books are and Significance is definitely my favorite book series now above Twilight, Harry Potter, Morganville Vampires, and Iron Fey. I am a hopeless romantic at heart but Ms. Crane writes a hero that is so swoon-worthy that you can't help but fall in love with him yourself. Her Heroine, Maggie, is easy to identify with and she writes Maggie in such a way that you can't help but put yourself in her place. If you are a fan of any YA Romance you will absolutely love the Significane series by Shelly Crane.(less)
