Author Bio: Senior fashion critic of the Sunday Times (London); visiting professor of London University, and Chairman of the Costume Society of Great Britain, Colin McDowell has worked in fashion for more than 30 years, both as a creator and commentator. He lived in Italy for seven years where he worked as a designer. The author of 14 fashion books, he has written and produced fashion documentaries for BBC TV and has written for every major newspaper and fashion magazine published in the U.K. and many in Italy.
