I can't believe I lived for 22 years without having read this book before! I've made most of the recipies that feature accessible ingredients, and her ideas are classic yet still inspiring. The best part of cookbooks are often found in the preambles, or the spaces in which the author offers cooking theory, or what drives them. God Bless You, Alice Waters.
