*******This was a First Reads Win****************

Dear Lord, if I have to read one more book about how men are programmed to cheat via evolution, hunter and gatherer, and blah blah blah one more time...

Honestly this book just feels like a modern take on any other man/woman relationship book. I didn't learn anything new except that I could probably use this book as a nice door stop. I'm usually not this harsh in my reviews, but wow!

Wouldn't recommend it.

I won this book as a goodreads giveaway.

The book is written in a tone that is kind of condensending. I think the author attempted to write the book in a conversational tone, however this was not how it came across. The vocabulary is simple and uninteresting. In attempting to read the book from cover to cover however a found myself skimming the book and just reading the gossip portions. I would not recommend this book.

I brought this book because I will always support my African American authors. This book I don't think is going to hit any bestsellers. Just read the inside jacket. I'm going to give it a try though? Maybe.

The tanginess bursting from Ray J on the cover is phenomenal.
