Unusual relato de um combatente das forças especiais do exército salvadorenho contra grupos guerrilheiros que, após desmobilizado, passa a viver por meio de seu conhecimento da violência. Seja por conta própria seja contratado por diferentes cartéis de traficantes de drogas, as ações do personagem vão traçando um painel em que o bem e o mal não se distinguem. Bueno, no creo que esto sea una "gran" novela, pero sí es la más entretenida que he leído desde hace buen tiempo. El protagonista, un ex-militar salvadoreño a quien le llaman "Robocop", es un personaje agradable a su manera, aunque hacia el final las matanzas brutales sin el mínimo remordimiento empezaron a plantear un problema para mí en términos de ver al narrador como un verdadero ser humano. Salvadoran novelist and short story writer.

Horacio Castellanos Moya and his family moved to El Salvador while he was only a few years old. He lived in San Salvador until 1979.

He then worked twelve years as a journalist in Mexico and has lived in Costa Rica, Canada, Guatemala, Spain and Germany, under the auspices of the Frankfurt International Book Fair.
