Karol Jackowski is a brave woman with an optimist's heart. While I find it hard to share her optimism for the future of the Catholic Church, I do appreciate her honest appraisal and her courage to speak up about some of the failings of the Church she so obviously loves. Jackowski places the current crisis in historical perspective and says things a reader will feel to be true, but that most church people have failed to say.
