Man had found traces of their presence, reverse-engineered their technology and speculated endlessly about their demise. But no one really knew what had happened. What can I say except WOW, what an amazing read! Not my usual genre but after reading the reviews on Amazon, I decided to purchase. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and could not put it down. Great storyline, interesting characters, lots of action, an air of mystery and an indomitable adversary. Needless to say I'm now reading the sequel.
