Very good book. I liked Natalie's independence. Once she realized that there really was danger, she was able to give in and accept the protection. Gray didn't want to deceive Natalie about his presence and once she found out she was hurt. After thinking about it, she accepted that he didn't have a choice. She wanted him to stay. In typical Ann Voss Peterson style, Secret Protector is fast-paced and romantic. The heroine is brave and fiesty. The bodyguard hero is willing to die to protect the woman he loves. This is romantic suspense at its finest!
