Book 2 in the Demons of the Infernum series

This book pretty much blew my mind and there was so much awesome-sauce to talk about that I don’t think I could even cover it all. Lario isn’t from one of the big publishers and while I hate to stereotype usually the best books come from the big names. Lario, however, writes one of the most compel

Rosalie Lario, hmmm... well, I think she's quite brilliant. After reading Keegan's story, Blood of the DemonI sent Rosalie a note and asked for more Taeg. She promised that she was going to give him to me and she did. Oh, how she did. This was by far one of the best paranormal reads I've had in a while. I loved the fiesty heroine, Maya and her kick-butt attitude.

The story gave me just enough closure from Blood of the Demon to really remember why I loved the first book in this series and then pus
Maya Flores, is a part time librarian and college student, but under the quiet façade she is a woman bent on revenge...revenge for her families brutal murder by demons. Maya can see through glamour so she is aware of all the demons walking around in our world and her goal is to destroy them all until she finally finds the demons that killed her family.

The book/story had me right up to the origin of the sword.
A really entertaining couple set for hotness in the bedroom and puppy eye love. Mix a room full of hybrid half demons, who are incredibly handsome, add some interesting shifters and hey presto what can go wrong.
Well at this point the author decided it would be a great idea to combat the most evil of demon items with a mythical sword that has been in so many books I can't even begin to count them. The storyline went from Urban fantasy to A

This second installment of the Demons of Infernum series picks up a few months after Blood of the Demon left off. Byrnn and Keegan are happily married and expecting a baby. But everyone is on pins and needles, waiting for Leviathos to come after the Book of the Dead. Taeg has an idea to stop the threat. If he can get his hands on Excalibur, they can destroy the book and eliminate the danger to Brynn.

During his research, he stumbles across Maya. She can see through glamours, which means she knows

Librarian, Maya Flores, knew demons walked the earth. Not metaphorical demons, but real hell spawn. She could see them. She saw them massacre her family as a young child and she is on a mission to exact vengeance on the demons that prey on innocent humans. Taeg, demon halfling and council cop, is on a mission of his own. Feeling he has to atone for past mistakes that have endangered his brother Keegan’s new family, Taeg is searching for a way to destroy the Book of the Dead, a magical tome that ...more

I can feel Glass giving me "the look" because of the cover. Yeah, I know babe it's really catchy. In my defense I first saw the old covers with less muscles on them. Still the most important thing is the story, right? Anjana asked me to join this tour and I accepted but I was afraid that it'd be typical paranormal story and too adult. Luckily for me it was neither.

Talking about paranormal - I haven't read many paranormal books lately and those that I did were par

This story follows on from the last book, and is the story of Taeg. He meets and kdnaps curvy librarian Maya who has the ability to see through glamour. He kidnaps her with the hope of convincing her to help locate a sword which could release Brynn his sister in law from the evil book of the dead.

Things don't go smoothly for the pair. Maya has a past which has lead to an intense hatred for demons ,making it difficult for Ta

Maya Flores is a librarian and self-declared demon hunter, having been orphaned when demons murdered her entire family. She’s got a special power that lets her see right through their glamours, and she seeks vengeance for what was done to her family. Taeg Meyers, a half-demon in desperate need of someone who can see through glamours, needs to convince Maya to help him. However, she hates him with all her guts (and more!) and

I fell in love with this world when I read the first book in the series, Blood of the Demon and was excited to dive back in. Since this is the second book in the series, I would recommend reading the first one, but it is not necessary. Rosalie gives you enough back story on the characters and events from the previous book that you will not be confused. If you read the first one however, it will just make the experience of reading Mark of the Sylph more enjoyable.

My Review:
This is book #2 in the Demons of Infernum series. My review of book #1, Blood of the Demon, can be seen HERE. I really enjoyed book #1, but OMG, I think that this one was even better. This world is so incredible and thorough and the four brothers are nothing short of fabulous. I adore how close they are without being all up in each other's business. I also really love how committed they are to their women by extensio

Rosalie Lario continues the story of her four half demon brothers from Infernum with Mark of the Sylph, giving readers a fun, exciting and sexy ride into the world of others with cocky second eldest brother Taeg.

Feeling guilty for letting down his eldest brother Keegan and new sister-in-law Bree, who is now expecting, Taeg is on a mission to find a mythical sword that may be the only weapon strong enough to destroy the Book of the Dead and save Bree and her unborn child’s life. While doing resea
Remember your local librarian? Quiet, unassuming, business-like, that pretty much describes Maya Flores, part-time librarian and college student. Ever wonder what your local librarian did after work? If she’s Maya, she is a woman on a mission of revenge against ALL demons for the deaths of her family. Maya is a kickass demon slayer, who just happens to be immune to their glamour and magic. No wonder she is cold towards hot and handsome, totally sexy, half-demon, half-fae Taeg, a bounty hunter fo ...more

When an old rival threatens Taeg's family, he's determined to save the day. He must find the sword and destroy the book that can create an army of dead. In doing so he frees his pregnant sister-in-law from its hold. Easy? Maybe it would be--if the sword wasn't glamoured, and the book wasn't spellbound to his sister-in-law.

This 2nd book was just as awesome if not more awesome then the first book. I love how so far we are getting a different brother in each book. They are part demons who are not looking for love but they seem to find it..

Taeg and Maya, I think are going to be my favorite couple no matter how many books come out. Even in the first book I really liked him. And I think Rosalie found him a perfect match. Maya is stronger then most humans and she totally can keep Taeg on his toes. She was pretty bad as

After thoroughly enjoying "Blood of the Demon," the first book in the Demons of Infernum series I immediately downloaded "Mark of the Sylph." While the first book featured the oldest demon brother, Keegan's story, this second book is Taeg's story.

Taeg loves women but lately he has been on a mission to find a way to destroy the book of dead, the very book responsible for creating zombies and putting his beloved pregnant sister at law life at risk. So, he spends his time doing research at the libr

This is a great new series and I wish I had read the first one.

Imagine my surprise when I started reading this book and found out it was about a half-demon named Taeg. To find out that he had fairy blood in him to. I never thought I would read about a combination like this. I also met other half-demons that had other parts that I never thought I would read about. Such a sexy demon and I wis
I read the first book in this series, Blood of the Demon, (review linked) but that was quite some time ago. So, I forgot most of what had happened. Luckily for me the book was written in a way that I wouldn't have had to read the first book to understand this world (although that never stopped me before... LOL). However, toward the end of the book, some of the things came back to me. Still, I would call this one a standalone, but you will probably want to go back to read that first book.

"Every worthy hero must make a sacrifice."

You’d think being a rare, magic-sensitive human would be a good thing, but for Maya Flores the ability is only a constant reminder of what she has lost. Seeing through the glamour that disguises the creatures walking in our midst, has made Maya believe that they are a danger to humans and must be eliminated. This leaves her ignorant of their human attributes and contributions to a society that most just want to be a part of. Their inherent danger is al

I picked up this urban fantasy/paranormal romance for one reason and one reason only: LIBRARIAN DEMON HUNTER. Unfortunately, the fact that Maya Flores was a librarian was not a huge part of the book. Really, Maya was in the library for her first meeting with the half-demon Taeg and then that’s it. I think it would have been fun to see the author play around with the librarian stereotypes – not that I’m a librarian or anything…

I also did not know this one was a series when I picked it up. While I

This is an enjoyable read as long as you're not expecting too much.

A typical Paranormal Romance this book has all the things you would expect:

- Gorgeous hero who has women fawning over him left and right: check!

- Perfect heroine who's beautiful, smart and who can handle herself in a fight: check!

- Hero and heroine not communicating so things don't get solved when they could: check!

- Villain who is background noise for most of the story and who waits too long before making his move: check!

Rosalie Lario is an absolute genius!!! She manages to carry off a great paranormal romance with scorching sex scenes while adding comedy, suspense, and mystery. She is my new favorite author. I didn't read the first book in the series, but I will definitely get it as soon as I finish writing this review. I love that even though this book is the second in the series with a third on the way--see I've already researched and found it--I didn't have any problems finding my place or being inundated wi ...more

If you read my review on the 4th book earlier you know I gushed about these covers, love them! They set the mood for the book perfectly, it's bit dark and has the romance without the buff guy shot ( not that I don't love those as well! ;D ). I really do enjoy Lario's writing, its right up there with the best of them. It's fun, witty, hot and had the right amount of darkness, sadness and tension. And I love a book with tension to keep the chemistry just right! Mark Of The Sylph was gr

Wow! The Demon's of Infernum series has seriously picked up! Mark of the Sylph is a fabulous addition to Rosalie Lario's series. In fact MotS totally pulled this series out of the shadows and into the bright lights of stardom!

Mark of the Sylph takes place six months after the first book in the series, Blood of the demon. This book is about Taeg, the half demon half air sylph (air sylph = faerie) and Maya the magic-sensitive human who also happened to be a demon slayer in her spare tim

I loved this follow up to Blood of The Demon. Taeg is a great character and it's nice to see him getting his own HEA. He still feels guilty for not helping his brother save Brynn straight away in Keegan's book and for bringing danger in the form of Leviathos down on the family. So he's trying to set it right by looking for Excalibur, the sword of Merlin so he can destroy the Book of the Dead and free Brynn from the danger it poses, espeacially as she's now carrying Keegan's child.
He meets Maya,

Wow! Okay, if you have something that needs to be done, don’t pick up this book. If you don’t have a sense of humor, and you don’t get subtle jibes, don’t pick up this book. If you’re not interested in action packed adventure, demons and humans falling in love, well you know. This might not be the book for you.
However, if you like action the kind that keeps you turning the page because you have to find out what is going to happen next. If you love seeing a woman that is strong, determined and do
