The S Orchestra concert was so powerful, I just had to watch that scene in the dorama, and it was totally worth it. Rhapsody in Blue... WOW! So touching. So sugoi... I NEED to give this dorama another chance...

Also incredible when Chiaki played the piano with Nodame. And this part I did not even have to watch it on "live"; in the manga alone was a WOW moment again. The passion they both pour in every single note they play. Genius.

This review is for the series as a (almost) whole, reviewing after reading books 1-10.

It took me quite some time to really get into this series. Books 2-4 were okay. They kept me entertained and curious enough to keep going, but I don't think it was really until book 5 that I really got invested in the series and Nodame and Shinichi.

This is why I fell in love with The Rach 2. And while it was hard to "hear" the music as I read it, the anime only beautified even more. And I'm talking about the first movement, not the popular Adagio Sostenuto. But going back to the manga, it really brings the music to life in another artistic way.
