Usually films are based on comic books and not the other way around - mainly, I don't see the point why someone would create a comic book based on a movie. And of course, it's a faithful carbon of the movie, a very accurate translation.
When I saw Shaun of the Dead some 6 odd years ago, I found it to be the best zombie movie ever. No, scratch that. Best British comedy ever. I've seen it a bunch of times ever since and it's just as great every other time.

One of my favorite movies EVER, i have been wanting this graphic novel for quite some time. i finally found it at my local bookstore and i got home to read it all right away. i'd like to dock a few points for the adapter for not being able to capture the exact brit-speak that the script had (really? "how's that for a fried gold sandwich?" it's actually 'how's that for a slice of fried gold?') but the artwork is great. and it is pretty faithful to the movie. if i could, i'd give this ra

Una reinterpretación divertida de una película que no vi, por lo tanto, no sé qué tan fiel o infiel es al film original. Según Rhockman, a quien se lo regalé, está bastante bien pero aburre un poco porque al que ya vio la peli le parece todo lo mismo. Yo la pasé bastante bien leyéndolo y me dieron ganas de ver la peli (aunque casi tres años después, sigo sin haberla visto). Supongo que cuando finalmente lo haga, le pegaré una releidita a este simpático tomo.

Ok this is a short read - read in one night and its not the first time i had read it but from a fan of Spaced this is carrying on in the same vein. An excellent telling very reminiscent of some of the more modern 2000AD artwork and still carries the energy and fun of the film. A great quick read.

Only qualm I had with this book is that it missed out on some of the dialogue, some of the ridiculously funny parts of it. I can't think of an example off the top of my head but other than that it was great.
