Wow, I'm so happy that I chose to pick up this novella! It was incredibly awesome! This was a very beautiful story of a man who had never believed in love and marriage, and a woman who came into his life and finally changed it forever. It was a perfect combination of romance and humor.

Ryder had never believed in love, marriage, or happily ever after. When his best friend was going to get married, he thought it was a crazy idea. Marriage was a disaster so he tried to change his friend's mind.

Wedding planner Claire Pomeroy thought she’d seen it all. Then she met her clients’ best man, Ryder Price. Ryder is determined to convince the groom, Matt, to call off the wedding. Not because he thinks that Matt and his bride, Rachel, should split, but because he doesn’t believe in marriage. Ryder claims he’s only watching out for his best friend, but Claire can tell there’s more to the story than that. As she tries to prove to this “worst man”

My rating 3.5 coffee cups
Best Man Worst Man by Stacy Gail is a delightfully funny, contemporary romance, complete with chocolate, and some serious toe-curling kisses. Gail delivers a charming feel good romance that I easily consumed in an afternoon.

The heroine is confident, multi-tasking wedding planner Claire Pomeroy. She is handling the wedding of Rachel and Matt and everything is going smoothly. That is until Ryder Price shows up. Ryder is Matt’s best friend and the designated Best Man. Ryde

This was a time passing read.

Not exactly the best opinion, right?
Well, I have to say, Gail could have made this novel a wee but longer. Afterall, it was only 8 chapters.

If Gail had put more detail and made the story longer, it wouldnt have felt so rushed.

Chapter 3; they couldn't stop thinking about each other

Chapter 4; they have a steamy kiss in the middle of a restaurant

Chapter 5; he finds her hidden lingerie collection and they have another steamy make out (after she licks his chocolate-cove

Wedding coordinator Claire Pomeroy has seen it all, when planning events, and ready with a remedy for every problem until she meets Best Man Ryder Price who is trying to derail the groom into calling off the wedding she is working on. Not only does the man not believe in true love or marriage, the chemistry between them is off the charts. Claire tries to convince Ryder that there is more to marriage than just sex, while Ryder is trying to prove to her that you can have all of that without marria ...more

So I enjoyed the other books I've read by Stacy Gail, but this one was a bit of a let down. While the general idea behind the story was good, it just was not well executed. The two main characters meet. There's chemistry and sparks. They're too different. Then BAM - suddenly, it's several weeks later, and they've both started to fall in love with each other. Yeahhhh, no. While I don't need to read about every minute of every day, I need to at least read about some of the moments leading to two p ...more

This was a fun romantic read that reminded of movies such as 27 Dresses or Shopaholic where the main characters fight their attraction. I cheered for them, but wanted to slap the guy into wising up before he did. I loved the witty banter and the sexual tension.
