OW ow rupanya diam2,tanpa sepengetahun Dexter, Jasmine memiliki seorang anak laki-laki, bernama Jacob. Yang tiap pulang kantor dia jemput dari sekolah. Dan siapakah ayah Jacob...ya Dexter lah. Hasil hubungan mereka di musim panas masa lalu. Jasmine mengandung, yang waktu itu "frist time" nya Jasmine diberikan ke Dexter...makanya Jasmine marah banget, Si Dexter meninggalkan dia yg telah mengandung anaknnya wktu itu.

Ceritanya cukup pendek, kebanyakan seperti harleqiun biasanya. Ada hal cukup unik juga ketika Dexter curiga anak Jasmine adalah anaknya. Dan ketika pagi-pagi buta gendor gendor rumah Jasmine yg mungil, tuk meminta konfirmasi...eh kedluan nafsu dengan membawa Jasmine ke ranjanng. Sehabis tu mereka ketiduran kepergok anaknnya siangnnya, yg kaget liat ibunya tidur dengan Laki-Laki asing. "Who are you?" kata Jacob dengan polosnya.. dan Dexter yg ngamati anak laki-laki 9 th didepannya yg merefleksikan dirinya ketika masih kecil dulu, langsung 100% yakin Jacob adalah anaknya, langsung jwb "i'm your Daddy"...

Selanjutnya..baca sendiri ya..intinya tentang saling memaafkan ko, atas keselahpahaman di masa lalu..kelar satu malam, gak byk umber kata cinta, cuman di akhir buku aja, nanti byk interaksi keluarga,,dan peran sepupu2 Dexter...yang nanti ada ceritanya juga di seri selanjutnya...(less)

I really liked this novel, even though it had one of the common and most annoying "romance conflicts/mix-ups." Jasmine and Derek were childhood sweethearts and at 18 planned to run away together, which is when her father secretly interfered (because the boy was poor and not good enough for his rich daughter). Due to her father's meddling, when the time came to run away, both lovers thought it was the other one standing him/her up! Ten years go by and they meet again - now he is rich and she...more 3.5*

I really liked this novel, even though it had one of the common and most annoying "romance conflicts/mix-ups." Jasmine and Derek were childhood sweethearts and at 18 planned to run away together, which is when her father secretly interfered (because the boy was poor and not good enough for his rich daughter). Due to her father's meddling, when the time came to run away, both lovers thought it was the other one standing him/her up! Ten years go by and they meet again - now he is rich and she no longer is. They rekindle their romance, but still can't get over how things ended when they were 18, each thinking they were dumped by the other.

(I understand that from my descriptions the "dislikes" may seem to outweigh the "likes" - but it's not true... it's just much easier (for me) to pinpoint exactly what i did not like, from the overall story that I did like a lot!)

Stuff I liked :
- chemistry between the hero and heroine was definitely there, things seemed to sizzle when they were together.
- story was cute and both hero and heroine were loveable.
- it was touching how he loved his kid from the start...

Stuff I did not like (and the reson i could not give this book 4-5*):
- TEN YEARS have gone by and now that they have met again, and are both still clearly upset, noone thinks of asking the other person "hey, why did you do that to me 10 years ago??!" Then they are planning on getting married and they have STILL not asked each other "What happened that day? Why did you ditch me?!" According to the book, they managed to NEVER discuss the main issue for over 3 months!
- I didn't get the relationship between Jasmine and her father, at all! She claims he was her hero all her life and doted on her and spoiled her by getting her whatever she wanted... Then,all of a sudden we are told that her father lives in a mansion, while she is working in her father's company for a very low salary - according to the book - barely making ends meet with her house and child expenses?! I'm not saying her father should have supported her financially, but we are led to believe that he is paying her a measly salary for an executive position she is manning single-handedly. How is he her hero again, when he is using her as cheap labor?! On top of that, an employee tells her that her father can't stand her and is badmouthing her and her "bastard" child all over the company?! And she is the only one who doesn't know any of this and thinks she has a great relationship with her dad?!?! So it was never really explained how this "loving, doting father" went from that to someone who hates his daughter for no particular reason...
- There is some contradictory information about Derek's attitude towards money. When he was going out with his cousins, the author made a point to describe him as down-to-earth, loving burger dives and country bars, jeans and Tshirts... Derek was said to have sworn never to forget where he came from and claimed that money had not changed him at all - he still liked the same stuff he liked before - no fancy stuff for him... Furthermore, in the book it clearly states that if someone saw him, they would never guess he was a millionaire/billionaire from the way he looked, because he looked/dressed like a regular-middle class guy! BUT then during the whole second part of the book, he constantly wears custom tailored suits, acts like a snob, spends huge amounts of money on stupid stuff, drives a Porche, purchases vehicles on a whim, and generally shows off his money at every step! Direcly contradicting the earlier proclaimation that he is down-to-earth and was most comfortable in jeans and tshirts, is a line that says "...he came down in what he considered casual clothes. He was wearing dark slacks and a white button-down shirt." This is making it sound like even his casual clothes are elegant by regular standards....so where did these jeans and t-shirts go, from 20 pages ago?!!? Another example is that he is shocked when she goes to a used bookstore, claiming that he could buy her all the brand-new-signed-copies of books she wanted, so why would she even look as used ones... ??? This does not sound like a down-to-earth guy! It sounds like a spoiled rich kid who is waving his money in front of people's noses....
- The last annoying thing was the wedding description. "Church was packed front to back with guests" but her side was "filled" with Derek's cousins as to not be empty?!? Who are all the people then? His guests only? And why does she not have any guests/friends?! Or bridesmaids or a made of honor? At the very end, it made Jasmine sound as if she was some sort of weird recluse/old maid who did not have a single friend who could have come to her wedding!!

I read the previous two books in the series, The Tycoon's Revenge (Baby for the Billionaire - Book One) and The Tycoon's Vacation (Baby for the Billionaire - Book Two) and both were very similar. The first one was OK, the second was just OK . As for this one, it is the last in the series of the Titan cousins (I think) and definitely not the best.
It was a mistake to read the three one after the other. You get sick of too good to be true males' characters and of women who are supposedly strong but...more

I’m partial to revenge themes, I simply cannot help my bloodthirsty nature. It started off good but then it began to seriously drag. Buying a house is a winded process but not when you’ve got money so why drag the reader through the excruciating details of the purchase and the complete decoration of the mansion right down to discussing furniture, packing boxes and watching the movers stack them into the truck and unpack them at the other end.

Derek’s directness even arrogance. ‘I want it now and I’ve got enough money to move mountains’ was meant to impress but I would have been a lot more impressed with less of the obvious and much much more of the intangible feelings going on between the MCs, an extended foreplay of the senses so when they physically connected I'm feeling the connection too. I wasn't feeling it and I'm not cold blooded by any stretch of the imagination. The foundation for a gritty angst filled romance was there but got buried with the house movers and other details.

Jasmine for all her supposed bravado didn’t do it for me. A number of times she could have stood up to Derek, instead she chose the smaller battles to dig her toes in and essentially let Derek run all over her. Yeah I get it she's thinking of her, I mean their son *sigh*

Amy’s sudden appearance at the mansion jolted me awake and its inclusion felt like a mild bump and dump into the plot.

Maybe it’s me but I'm a bit (okay maybe a lot) incredulous of a woman who doesn't have sex for ten years for whatever reasons and I've said this in other reviews. A woman with blood in her veins even busy mothers have sexual needs just like any man. Don't we? I for one would never hold a few dalliances against Jasmine any more than I would be expected to hold it against Derek who certainly wasn't chaste himself for ten years so why not level out the playing field and show that very human side of Jasmine's nature? How about an office affair with a single not married Harry? Ethically wicked perhaps but it happens. Or the coach I can't remember his name. I grow weary of reading stories that portray women as sexless machines with a flip switch that's activated years and years later.

I’m not a fan of children being used as unwitting pawns in the romantic equation but I’m always intrigued by swinging ratings so I read it anyway.

I did like the writing style though and I'm keen to try another read from this author if the recommendation covers those points I've already raised but this one needed less of this and more of that for this reader.

After reading Melody Anne’s Billionaire Bachelor series, I just had to read this one… although it doesn’t have as many books in the series, it still a gem… and of course she gives you the first one free and the rest are only $2.99…

I enjoy reading this author's books. They are fun and light reads. This one is the first in the series but none of her books have to be read in order. Another mistaken communication plot line. I would have liked to have more supporting roles flesh out this romance story, where are the neighbors that helped Jasmine raise her son as a single mother, her friends (I'm not counting the backstabbing mothers on the wrestling team) and Derek's father and cousins? It's not a classic or a book you keep forever or one that you pass around to all your friends, but this was a reaal good book that I read from beginning to end in one sitting. I was captured.

I've read books by Melody Anne before & like them. This book has all the elements to equal a good story line...but it seems people & events were added...hinting & more & that train of thought was just forgotten.

I got this as a free read. I usually like paramornal romance vampires, werewolves, sirens, dragons etc. I read some comperary but not much. This I liked.

The plot reminds me of a Harlequin Presents novel, with an ultra-alpha hero seeking revenge on the girl he believed wronged him the past. Throw in the facts that he's now her boss and a secret baby and you have the makings of a wild story. I would have enjoyed it more if not for the glaring grammatical errors. Its a toss up between stupid and cute. The characters and story didnt really have a lot of depth, and seemed quite superficial, so there were many parts that i thought were stupid. I wasn't sure whether or not I was going to like this book at first. The writing seemed to be a bit choppy and unrefined. Within the first few chapters, I got into it and enjoyed it.
