Jacki King can communicate with dead people, and her uncanny ability has started to steer her in a path she's unsure she should take. Eighteen Kisses is the continuation of Jacki's story as she continues to explore and test her abilities as a teenage investigator and see how far it will take her. Jacki's next assignment: find a girl who's been missing for two years.

Eighteen Kisses marks a new start of Jacki's life. In Angel Kiss, she ignored Beth's presence, and i...more

This book was amazing and never confused me which most books like this do! Laura did an amzing job on both books and i cant wait for the next one. When i read it I could never put it down and really felt like i was in the book watching it as it was so detailed and visual. I loved it soo much. She
has really inspired me too become a writer and hopefully i will be as good as her! :)

I really really enjoyed this book. A great, fast, entertaining read. While there was a large group of characters I managed to keep up pretty well. A super follow up to Angel Kiss. I particularly loved the way teenage relationships were handled in this book, realistic and heart wrenching. I teared up, so apparently I do have a soul after all! Yay! :)

(I may be ever so slightly biased, just to warn you.)

This was a somewhat disappointing follow-up to Angel Kisses, which was a pity, as that had quite a few strengths. This was set in Dublin, primarily in Temple Bar, and that didn't help. The murder was also rather less likely, and Jacki's maundering thoughts (and actual speech) about her romance made for pretty excruciating reading at points.

A taut, suspense filled mystery that will keep you guessing right to the end, Eighteen Kisses, the second installment in Laura Jane Cassidy’s Jacki King series, sees the teenage investigator back in action as she’s called on to help solve the case of Kyla Edwards who disappeared two years previously on the night of her eighteenth birthday party. No body has ever been found, and the case remains unsolved. But Kayla wants to be found, and so she calls to Jacki, visiting her dreams, causing nightma...more

I don't have strenght anymore to read or comment books with pitiful, whiny "heroins". I mean, reading this book was like being tortured by a slow dripping water on your forehead... I honestly don't know why or how this piece of... work got high ratings.

Once I started to read the book I HAD to find out what happened next. So I read into the night. The last time this happened to me I was 10! It is so great to have found a book that could make me want to read for hours. It is a great read.

i enjoyed this book though i prefered the first one better.the book would have been more enjoyable if jacki had more visions of Kayla (all she had was the same dream over and over again about the night Kayla was murdered and she only sees her when she goes to the place Kayla is buried)also i thought there was too many characters and i found it confusing (when i find out who the murderer is i had to look back to remeber who it was).i still would recommend it because it had a good story line.

It was a brilliant sequel to a brilliant first book.
