This is an anthology, so it lends itself to never quite finishing it... It has been in the back seat of my car for about a year and a half - I'm really almost done. Really!
Interesting read. Newman talks about the Canyon in 3 categories: the rim, the river, and the people. Each sections starts with modern literature winding its way back to the oldest pieces authored. I enjoyed learning more about the Canyon, including the various Native American origin stories.
