Obsidian Moon, Obsidian Eye (The Jan Xu Adventures, #2)
by
J. Damask
The world turns and the dragon catches its own tail.
Jan Xu, now alpha and leader of the Xu clan, faces more challenges when a
past misadventure rears its head and threatens to tear her life apart. Added
to this is a revelation about her role in her pack, which can make or break
her, or potentially help her defeat an old foe, if she managed to hold onto
her sanity.

“I wanted my land back. It was deep in my blood. It sang in my bones. It demanded action.” -J. Damask, Obsidian Moon, Obsidian Eye, pg 100

It is a difficult choice, whether or not to involve her people in a blood feud from her Gang of Four days. But as blood is shed and even the Ancestral Forest is violated, Jan Xu will bring the ferocity of the Lang into play.

A softer and another echo of the first, it deals directly with the consequences and dives deep into the effects of events on Jan. I ended up crying over the ending, which was excellent. This is more of a character study of a novel, very psychological. I can't wait to see where things will go next. Definitely worth a read, and you will be as excited as I an about where the story will go after this. th...more
