This is a great snippet from Jez and Steve’s life after the event in First Impressions. I was very relieved to see that Jez’s sense of humor is alive and well and that they’re enjoying their relationship as much as they did their getting to know each other. And best of all? Steve still manages to surprise Jez with a new talent.

This is a cute little follow-up to First Impressions which the author is offering for free on Smashwords. This is just a short taste of Steve and Jez five months after they finally get together. Steve has moved into Jez’s apartment and life was good until Steve broke his leg trying to rescue a kitten stuck on the roof. Five months after First Impresions, we catch up with Jez and Steve. Another, light fun read from Jo Myles, again short, so perfect for a 20 min timeout to raise the spirits! Jez and Steve are living together - steve off work with a broken leg. Jez comes home early to discover a secret about Steve, which leads to a sexy scene on the sofa!

This was a fun little short that gives us a little more of a look into the lives of Jez and Steve. Despite figuring out the "surprise," I found this to be delightfully cute and funny. It's got a little bit of everything for romance readers: humor, sweetness, and sexitime. Definitely worth picking up, I enjoyed it more than the first story, I think.

Very cute. Love Jez and Steve together and seeing more of their day-to-day lives. They have fantastic dialog and really compliment each other. Really wish this one was longer.
What's not to love about a guy making a gift for his love by his own hand? What I really wished to know was whether Steve knitted his hellacious socks himself.
Super short, very adorable story about Jez and Steve (of First IMpressions sock fame), and Steve's hidden talen. They are just so cute.
Without reading the beginning of their relationship, it was still sweet and funny little glimpse into their lives.
