First thoughts:

I didn't know anything about the book or author going into reading this. But I was excited; I mean who wouldn't be when reading something you know so little about? I like reading books like this one. It really opens your eyes to how many good books there are out there but getting so little credit. This story had elements of suspense, friendships and thrills. The bond between the characters was very strong and believable, the characters weren't dull; they were filled with life and
If I had read this book first then I would've understood the beginning of All that we see or seem. Good story. I had a sneak peek of sexy evil Ronan. Who's the guy with blue eyes?! The one she can't see his hair ... is De- = to Devlin?? Larkin Devlin?! hmmm.. so much to think about ... I knew she was attracted to Ronan always knew it even if she didn't admit it in All that we see or seem ... *sigh*
Where Thy Dark Eye Glances is a prequel Novella that I highly recommend to get a better understanding of the “Dreamer Trilogy” world. With Witches, Fairies, Ghosts, Demons, and other otherworldly creatures, this story has something for everyone. Lily is a Dreamer, a powerful witch who sees visions in her dreams. For the past few years she has been plagued by the nightmare that is Ronan. A terrifying tyrant from another realm who visits her in her dreams and wants to make Lily his bride, and will ...more
First let me say that I really, really, REALLY wanted to give this book four if not five stars. Anyone familiar with my reviews knows that I am a stickler for grammatical errors and include that as part of my overall review. There were a lot, not enough to draw me away from the story but I'm the kind of reader that once I spot one I am constantly looking for the next. Everyone makes errors, even I sometimes go back and re-read a review and spot one, I get that, so that is one reason why I didn't ...more
Note: I purchased this Nook book early in 2012. The goodreads description page indicates it was rewritten in 2012. I'm hoping that the story line did not shift much and that the rewriting was focused on fixing editing mistakes.

Also note: I am a technical writer by profession and I proofread everyday. When I read I try very hard to turn off the editor and enjoy the story so I can review primarily as a reader. In some cases the two get muddled.

There were parts that the writing was great. Places where I was intrigued and just wanted to keep going and never stop. But then there were parts I was like "what is the point of this?" It seemed like a lot of things kept getting repeated constantly, sometimes repitition isn't a good thing. Then there was all the grammatical errors. I'm not exactly perfect in writing either and always have like a million words mispelled but I would never let anyone read it that way. There were errors left and ri ...more

“You mean because of the challenge you issued to the Unseelie? Yeah, that was a real bright and shiny idea, Dreamer.” 1 likes
“We all know how it says it’s going to end, Dreamer, but no one knows for sure. That’s up to you, and your friends. It is the Four who shall decide whether or not it comes true, not a bunch of words written on a piece of paper. Not even,” he turned the book around so that its insides were facing her, “if it’s written in on very old, very large, dusty paper.” 1 likes
