This is an informative sum up of the events of September 11th and some of the lasting effects from them. The Cornerstones of Freedom series have a great layout with: easy to read small chapters, colorful photographs, maps, a detailed timeline, glossary, and links to video footage relating to the topic. A good resource for any middle/high school classroom or library.

The terror in New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, DC and the entire United States of America is detailed. The response and legal perspective on the Patriot Act are included. This book will be available for the tenth and every future anniversary of this tragedy.

An interesting book but perhaps too much info on the resulting governmental programs and projects which may bore young readers.
A great timeline of events and discussion of many of the major players.
Advanced 3rd grade readers and up.
