The majority of the audiobook consists of the first published version of The Maltese Falcon. It's a bit rougher and somewhat meaner than the version later released as a novel. The final disc includes two short stories, one by Fredric Brown and one by William Cole. Good old-fashioned mystery storytelling, with excellent readers.
