Had some fairly helpful suggestions about being an indie musician. It goes beyond what people might think of as typical band and CD release stuff into side music jobs that people can do. Has interview excerpts with various working musicians - for instance Mary Gauthier is quoted quite a bit. The book had a slightly self-help tone to it, which the author warned about in the beginning because she has also written self-help books.
