"Can you stand on your head?"
"No, its too high"
Sigh, no wonder the uncle didn't say anymore jokes. Anyways. I'm glad it's the same dummy in all three books, but is the same story. Dummy pulls the pranks, parents get super angry and no one believes the kids. It's so repetitive you can skip the first 15 chapters! In this book the girl is not the one with the dummy act (No, I can't spell the professional word for it and am too lazy to use spell check.) This time it'...more

The Night of the Living Dummy III is a really good book to read and is for anyone who wants to read an adventure story or a funny story. R.L Stine was really clever with the way that he put his book together. It is really a book for kids to read and enjoy.

Thsi Goosebumps story is about this creppy old ventroquilst dummy attic where the dummies create evil, nasty, scary plans to cause Kathy and her brther to get in trouble. But during the summer, their cousin and uncle come over to their house to stay for a few weeks. Zack, their cousin likes taking photographs. Personally, Kathy and Her brother don't like his counsin at all. Durin the summer they all hanged out outside and just be there. Bu twhen kathy goes to sleep she hears these weird loud foo...more

Ahhh, the Goosebump days. I would borrow so many of these from the library they seriously considered extending my limit of books checked out at one time. R.L. Stine you were a reprieve from a harsh and dreary childhood in which my mind wandered far away from the troubles of the day. I stole books into my bed and read far into the night by the faintest of lights. I might have better eyesight were it not for you; however, I regret not one page or line.

This book is about how 2 little kids named Trina and Dan. Their dad use have a ventriloquist act.So he had alot of dummies in the attic. Trina and Dan were now hearing voices up in the attic but they knew that there were only dummies up there. They went up there and seen the dummies just lookin at them all weird. When they told their dad he didnt believe them. The whole time the kids just kept saying there is no way the dummies can be alive....

Sean and I whipped through this in 2 sittings. It's around 125 pages, so that should tell anyone interested that it held Sean's attention. Not having read Night of the Living Dummy I or II I couldn't be sure if the same dummy is the protagonist here again. I suspect he is.

A ventroloquist who has retired from the stage keeps dummies in his attic. There were a dozen of them, at least until Smiley arrived. The ventriloquist's two children and their cousin Zane have adventures concernin...more

I was a avid R.L. Stine reader as a kid, just like all the other kids i went to school with, we were also big fans of the television series, watching it every friday evening after school. I enjoyed them because they were relatively entertaining. A great part of my child hood.

This book was about that a kid gets this dummy as a toy. And the what he didnt know was that the dummy was real(he could move and talk)So at the end the dummy and the kids family get into a fight and when they defeat the dummy they throw him in the sewer.

Gahhh, these books for this living dummy keep getting more terrifying. When I read them I was in elementary school (not sure what grade off the top of my head) but I remember being too haunted by this book to be able to even fall asleep at night.

i think night of the living dummy is a great book because i tkeeps you on your toes waiting to see what happens next. in this book you feel like your right there fighting with the dummy to gain control if you know what i mean.

I may have been confused by many of the illogical assumptions by Trina O'Dell's family that are made in this book, but it was an interesting diversion from the story of the first two, and I liked it.

Dummies might be cute and adorable in reality, but in this book, the dummies not only look creepy. They are alive. I didn't like how the book ended, because it was not a happily ever after. The girl was left blamed, and the dummy was given away. Giving one those dummies away is giving away trouble.
Deshawn
This book was about a cursed dummy that goes around a ventriloquist's home and terrorises people
