4.5 a little is missing for 5 stars.
It was a sweet short read. I wish it was longer. Not sorry for buying it since it was very fairly priced. I hate it when short books are the same price as long ones. Sure it's not the amount of words what counts, but still even the best short read is read very quickly, so it's a very short enjoyment.

This is not a story that pulls its punches and jumps into extremely hot action on page 1. The tension from there on out is s much about what sort of relationship Tony will manage to have with Mr. Mowburrey, the center of his admiration, as about the page-blistering sexual tension between the two men. As for the type of relationship: well, clearly it will be D/s, but how long can it last?

That could be a good beginning for a novel. I gave it 4 stars, not five, because of the only thing the author describes is sex. I love BDSM and D/s. Here, this was sex in a D/s frame. Why not a kind of marble cake made of D/s, SM, love and sex, all intertwined together?

Great short read. Ms Dare has done it again . Short story of an untrained submissive who pulls out all the stops in one final act to win over the cool as ice Mr Mowburrey.

Ridiculously short story. The blurb was more interesting than the actual story. Sorry, but this author's stories are getting shorter and shorter with NO plots any longer. Very disappointing.

Even if short, I have to admit, it was sweet and pulling preview into this new series. I hope we will see more about this couple of Dom/Sub relationship.

Could be longer, but very cute story.
Tiny taste of a story
This is a sweet 5 minute read chronicling the seduction of an icy Dom by a sub who wants the whole enchilada. This was too short for true satisfaction but is possibly a good introduction for a series. I would have to read the rest of the books to get an adequate resolution...which is one of my pet peeves. I will probably revisit the series when I have the time to tackle all of the chapters/stories at once. I enjoy Kim Dare's style so I was tolerant of the disappointment the brevity of this book...more

Enjoyable, but just too short for two people who really didn't know each other to find the HEA believable. However, the chocolate on a stick scene was worth the read;-)
Very good kinky short m/m story about the titular character who's staying at a friend's house and is tempted by a young sub he believes to belong to his host.
His is the beginning chapter for these two. I'd have liked to see why they called him icy, we are told he is.
