I really liked this one. Can you imagine typing a story and everything coming true? That'd be awesome. Imagine my book coming to life. Oh Jessica where art thou? A well written book. Alex, a girl, was very smart and a good friend, imagine having someone sit there next to you as you type your story...never mind, that can't get annoying. Anywho, the book was good up until (if you've read my other reviews, I think you know what I'm about to say) Yup, the ending. Chapter 33, the final chapter did no...more

I always tend to read goosebumps when I'm in a hurry to finish some books. Goosebumps always entertaines me which is why it is a quick read. This book in particular is about exactly what the title says it is. There is a blob that eats everything! It originates from some majic type writer that someone discovers and begins to write about this blob. Definantely an easy, fun read.

I like that the book is about a magical typing machine that is cursed at the same time. I like that the characters in the book accidentally type a monster story with the typing machine and by doing so make the monsters come to life. This book is suspenseful and full of action, plus it creates a whole new story over a regular typing machine...

Stine never fails to provide us with a story that will always, some how stick with you for the rest of your life. The humor, the twists, everything about these books remind me what it's like to be in fourth grade reading these more then a drug addict takes hits (it's a terrible thing to say but it goes with the books so much.) I mean, the books are SO terrible. They're like a guilty pleasure. A quick read I can get over with and boom, never touch it again for another decade and be happy.

Despite the fact that this book has a blob on the cover, it's mostly about a type writer that grants wishes. Oh, How I wish I had a type writer that granted wishes!

Unless it's like this book. And it also grants evil pink blobs.

Zackie has always wanted to be a horror story writer and it comes true when he finds a mysterious type writing machine in an old antique store. He begins to use it to his own amusement but soon realizes that whatever he wrote about came to life. Who knew that such an unharmful object could be so frightening. I wish I could have this typewriter that let me made anything happen. I would have everything that I've always wanted. Too bad that this isn't real.

Zack and Alex one day found a cool old typewriter. It could type anything and it became true. With great power comes great responsibility, because a blob came to life because of this. How will he defeat the blob?

This was a interesting and fictional plot. I say fictional because I wish how this were true and I can type anything out and make it true,

In the end it was a sudden twist i thought the typewritter had the power but it turns out it was actually Zackie had the power to make his stories real. But it was really wierd when i found out that the story if zackie was actually a story made by a blob monster which was really wierd.

Goosebumps. This is the series that kept me reading through my childhood. More than any other series, Goosebumps kept me interested in reading, and R.L. Stein is a wonderful children's writer. I applaud his efforts, and can't express enough my gratitude for the series.

These books are good. Odd and creepy enough for children who are into that kind of thing but not enough to give anyone nightmares. Great reading material
