Annabelle Foresight loves reading, animals and walks under the moonlight. Her brother Roland loves exploring, hunting and lots of action. For 300 year old children vampires, they’ve seen quite a lot.

There is no rest for these undead kids, and that’s a good thing. In this collection of stories they hunt for the Invisible Man and fight witches, vampires, Nazi werewolves, zo

Vampires, werewolves, evil witches... my kind of book! Scott brought back some old monsters that used to scare me when I was a kid. Ok, they still do! There are several stories compiled in this book, all of which center around historical events, and all are gripping in their own way. The main characters: Roland and Annabelle, children vampires, will be fun for middle-grade and YA to read. While the story is about dark creatures, Scott lightens the mood by adding humor, reminding all of us that y ...more

This is a fun and entertaining book. It's a collection of short stories told from the perspective of a vampire child who lived through them. Scott Bryan has made up a fun story and incorporated different stories, myths and legends as well as some history into his book. Annabelle Foresight is a vampire child who has lived for more than three hundred years. During that time she has fought against witches, other vampires including the brides of Dracula, werewolves, zombies, the Invisible Man, and M ...more

This is a short prequel to the Night Children Series. It's a fun way to introduce kids to history. Scott intertwines his monster events with real historic events. Vampires, witches, and an assortment of monsters add interest to the story. I'm looking forward to reading the series with my kids.
This book is a refreshing look at a fun topic.
Great for Adults and Kids alike.
I would recommend this book to EVERYONE!
First off I have to say thanks to the author Scott Bryan for giving me a free personalized signed copy, and a bookmark of Night Children: Dark Threats. This book runs down the basics of world history and typical horror characters like vampires, werewolves, and even zombies. This short story of two siblings Annabelle and Roland fighting monsters we only hear about in scary stories. Frozen in a state where they can nether grow old as easily or die normally, Annabelle tells the audience about her p ...more

Would it be wrong to say I love this book? Yes, I’m biased because I’m the author, but I can’t stop reading or writing her stories. I have to tell them, share them, and get them out into the world.
As the author I’ve fully aware this story isn’t perfect, but I believe it’ll entertain.
Give it a shot!

Scott Bryan is the author of the Night Children series. He loves stories about the strange and unusual. He’s always loved the classic Universal monsters. It’s his goal to create his own personal spin on those concepts, mixing them with adventure. The Night Children is about two vampire children battling the evil vampire Dominic (i.e. Dracula) and his army of monsters as well as experiencing histor ...more
