Read in July, 2008
I read this, at the recommendation of a colleague, along with Grote's "Ultimate Guide to Performance Appraisal." This book was useful to my work as we thought about the particular management skills and time values we want to assess in different job functions. It's also pushing my thinking on what is possible to attain with a well developed internal pipeline. I read this long before starting businesses and I read it to find out how to work my way up the corp ladder. It shows the steps and techniques to bring the leaders out and help them rise in your company.
