This was a really sweet wonderful book. I don't usually read horse books because I can't stand the 'pretty pink pony' syndrome that make them popular. The horses were realistic and the kids in it weren't to Saddle Cluby. Great for any teenage horse lover and still decent for an adult horse lover.
sad book, I enjoyed the emotional journey that we went through with joelle. I didn't understand why karle blocked joelle off from her friends and family in her grief, but hen also blocked us out as well. We never first-handedly experienced her turmoil, which would have been a very captivating and moving experience. her numbness and then blandness are typical coping facilities, but to write a novel that way is not the path I would have chosen. I wish that more focus would have been put onto Joell...more
The title should read: "The Forgotten Filly (Thoroughbred Series, Ashleigh's Collection)" but I can't see how to tell someone to change it.
Calling it "Thoroughbred Club" sounds so awful, and not at all like the series is.

I liked this book but not as much as I usually like horse books. It was sooooo sad all throughout the book, but the ending was good.
I really loved this book. It was my favourite when I was younger. I was soo sad when I lost it :(
