A great series for tweens that love horses and/or are interested in horseback riding or racing. Teaches about the struggles of working with animals and the benefits.

I can't believe that Sierra proved himself as a steeplechaser!

I really liked this book, but the title suggests that the story is all about Sierra and the characters training him to be a Steeplechaser, but most of the book revolved around Pride then it kind of transitioned to Sierra towards the end, it didn't completely focus on him which was a bit disappointing but the information they did have on steeplechasing was interesting and the actual steeplechase was fun to read, I just wish the book had been mostly about the main horse it's titled for.
