This is an incisive look at multiculturalism in Britain through the rhetoric and policies of New Labour (mostly examining Tony Blair). It highlights the state's positions and discourses on race by looking at nationalism, gender, and immigration. This mode of analysis gives rise to interesting concepts, such as multicultural nationalism.
