Car's a regular at the Velvet Glove. Though he doesn't have a lover, there's always a sub or two available for him to play with. Issak's a regular, too, but while he's at the top of his game in the real world, he comes to the Glove to escape reality. He needs the release submitting to Mal, the Glove's Premier Top offers, even if he resists every step of the way.

Like all the novels and stories in the Velvet Glove 'universe', there are some well-known and famliar elements in this story. Mal is there to provide 'the perfect match', we have Kestrel adding a little bit of color, but the main focus is on Car and Issak.

Car is a Dom with too much time and too many ideas for his own good. He is looking for someone special, but not quite sure who that might be until he meets him. Dominant to the core, he takes over - but with enough sensitivity to help Issak see...more

This story is set in the Velvet Glove world, which for those readers unfamiliar is an exclusive BSDM club set in the future. You do not have to have read any other stories to read this, nor will you feel lost in the world as the action in this case is only between three characters and takes places within the club which could be any BDSM club/compound.

Car is a regular Dom at the club and is coming for a visit. He meets with Mal, the manager, who...more

Talk about a tasty sip! This book is spicy, hot and just the right amount of sweet.

I've heard lots of great things about the work of Sean Michael. Well, I had to find out for myself. I am so glad I did. This might be labled a Torquere Sip book, but man, this is so much more than a simple taste.

The writing flows well. Granted it's a short story, but I didn't want to put it down and sat clutching my reader until I was done because I s...more
Too short that feels incomtplete.

I really liked reading about this pairing between Car and Issak at the Velvet Glove. One difference that I like as compared to many of Sean Michael’s Dom/sub stories is that Issak was no weak sub. He was a very strong and powerful man outside of the club scene with an equally strong need to submit. I would have loved for this story to at least play out for the entire 3 days that Issak was visiting, but no such luck. Enjoyed the delicious goodness in this one!
The only bad thing I have to say about this story is that it was too short. Just as I really got into how Car was beginning to feel about Issak, the short story was over. Issak sounds like he really needs someone to take care of him and help him deal with the rigors of his business. And Car seems to be just the man to do it. I can only hope to hear more about them at a later date.
felt unfinished. .. The connection was between isaak and car but it ended with so much unanswered

Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours...more
