I read the Minister's Black Veil and it reflects the religious hypocrisy of the time and demonstrates how desperate the puritans were for their own autonomy and independence. The Clergyman in the story is saddened, and he is a reminder of how many people loose the ones they love, because they chose to be themselves instead of following along with the social norms of the time. Good read.

Hawthorne is a very engaging writer. I keep reading these short stories even though they are pretty tragic and rarely have happy endings.

Hephaestus Books publishes print-on-demand compilations of Wikipedia articles -- not original works. Caveat Emptor.

If you feel that doing a free search on Wikipedia is not worth your time compared to paying someone to print out Wikipedia articles for you, then these books may be of interest.

Works titled as "Novels of [Author], such as [novel1], [novel2]..." are very arguably deceptively advertised
