From what I remembered about the first two books of this series, this book was not what I expected, which actually turned out to be a good thing. I thought the story would mostly revolve around the hero's fight against his father's will. While this creates a reason for the hero and heroine to meet up, their past and current relationship extends far beyond the expected. The book still manages to satisfactorily resolve the series's inheritance issue without it taking cen...more
