Well this book was definitely better than the first book in the series. It had a lot more action and this part of the story was also better written. One of the drawbacks to the book though was that the action scenes weren't very descriptive for a story about ninja's. Many of the scenes were over in as little as two sentences. Another is that fact that the author mentions several different types of fantasy/paranormal creatures (i.e. vampires, nymphs, hobgoblins, etc...) but doesn't go into any de...more
Awesome book. The story kept going that i couldnt put it down. It kept me guessing what was going to happen next. Easly one of my fav books

Another winner from Jarius Raphel.
This is the second book in the series. It follows most of the same people, but from different perspectives this time. I really enjoy these books! They are fast-paced and very easy to read. You get to know & like the characters, I was sad when this book ended. I love Jarius Raphel's writing style, the story just flows and it isn't confusing, only surprising at times :)

Rise of the Shadowsalve is one of the few books that I could not keep my eyes off off. This is definitely to-read book.
