I think this is one of my favourite books of the year so far.

The book was at our holiday cottage and was produced by the gallery Strange Cargo as its contribution to the second Folkestone Triennial. It is a collection of quotations about places in and around Folkestone together with photographs. The text appears on discreet plaques around the town. Not all of the places are conventionally beautiful but meaning creates a beauty of its own.
