I am finally done with this wonderful book. The ending had some great moments. One of them was Chantrea's father has finally came back to America. They are reunited and it is a very happy time. It was close to the holidays so Chantrea's Christmas wish finally came true. Now they can live happily and move forward to the future

I apparently thought this book was good enough to read several times when I was about twelve and I still vividly remember many details.

Material is a little difficult in parts. However, a fabulous story that really makes you appreciate what we have. My kids loved it despite thinking it was tough to read in the beginning.
